LOL, that picture caused quite a stir. Of course, you know her agent dreamed it up after a conversation about how she was not getting any publicity lately.

I'd make a comment but JC seems to be closing threads like he gets paid for it.......
Agreed, Morris is my favorite back of all time. He had a unique running style. He could hover in one place pumping his legs like sprinting in place until the defender committed and then shoot in the other direction. Just before the 73 SB, in a pre-game segment there was a clip contrasting the running styles of Csonka and Morris.
Csonka's runs were to rock guitar music and Morris' runs were to banjo music. Great clip. Can't find it on youtube.
I grew up with the 1970s Miami Dolphins. They were my boyhood heroes. My father's favorite Dolphin was Larry Csonka.
I enjoyed The Perfect Backfield immensely. They were indeed perfect on the field, and very complimentary talents. But they weren't "perfect" off it. Kiick had a major issue with not starting, and just couldn't accept Shula's decision (which proved to be right one).
I believe that if Kiick and Csonka hadn't left with Warfield to the WFL, that the Dolphins would have won 1 or 2 more Super Bowls. I interviewed Kiick once and asked him if he regretted leaving. He seemed quite uncomfortable digging it back up again. But he gave me the impression of a wiser man now, one who would have done it differently in hindsight.

I was surprised to see how Jim Kiick aged. Czonka has aged well and so has Mercury. Years ago I read a book entitled "Always On The Run." It was about those three backs and the antics they had with Shula. It may still be available somewhere.
I think Jim has some health issues going on. He looked much worse then the other 2. Some people are ok with getting old, the other two seemed to be living life to the fullest.

The damaging results of that one day are this, in order of importance.
1) The loss of the lives of Ronald Goldman and Nicole Brown Simpson
2) The ruin of the life of what was prior thereto, one of the beloved, before then, figures in American life and football
and
3) the notoriety of what that brought and the hiring of Attorney Robert Kardashian and thus his daughters.
Same I work 12 he days Mon through Fri. Do not have a lot of time to watch TV. I'll try to catch it because I was not alive back in the glory days and wish I could have seen the greatness.
