Good decision by Philbin, no sense in even risking injury to Tanny.

I dont hate that we have a capable backup...I dont hate moore. Good kid..But to think he could start instead of tannehill is stupid.

Moore played great. What exactly is your knock on him?

He missed on a deep pass? He would hit them, the ball was beautiful.

He had a couple really nice passes. One on a 3rd down pick up to the backup TE. Quick read, quick release.

He was not asked to nor expected to put points on the board. He was asked to run out the clock which is what he did.

And yes I would still be happy if he were starting.

Moore is what he is. A serviceable back up. He reminds me of Feidler. A lot of heart and intangibles but just not the physical skills to be a top tier starter in the NFL. That said, just ONCE I'd like to see Tannehill OVERTHROW wallace instead of under throwing him. Hope Danny is working with him on how to throw the deep ball.

LOL. Hope he leaves Tanny just the way he is. If your expecting a clone of Dan Marino you will be disappointed. Tanny does so many other things that Danny never could. And surely Moore can't do what either of them can or he wouldn't be a career back up. drinking smiley

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Sorry, KB, but RT does overthrow Wallace, quite often, in fact.

When Wallace first got to Miami, RT underthrew him a lot because he didn't know how to judge his speed. Now that he knows Wallace's speed, he just has to work harder on making that connection.

I have never seen Tannehill overthrow Wallace on a deep route (40 yds+) Maybe he has IDK but I have noticed him under throw him A LOT when he is two steps behind the defense. Tannehill has connected for exactly ONE pass of 40+ yards this season (NFL.com). My only question is whether it is arm strength or just timing. The latter is correctable, the former isn't. Not a deal breaker, especially since his intermediate touch passes have improved markedly over the last few games. But, Why keep Mike Wallace and a bunch of clones (speed guys) if Intermediate is our game. Flame away, but we should've drafted Kelvin Benjamin.

KB you are correct; tannehill underthrows Wallace.

Tannehill is not as good as Marino... LOL now that is funny comparison.

Tannehill will not learn how to throw a deep ball guys, just give up on it. The coaches are no longer even calling it with him.

If Tannehill can continue to move the ball and put points on the board it is not needed.

He went deep on the last 2 games....even at times 2 times in a row...

Once again you are wrong.

One was a broken play, the one he completed by the way.

The next one was incomplete... you saw that right?

How many did he throw against the Chargers? ZERO

Keep trying Samsam you will get one right soon.

The way they are calling plays now, it is not needed so I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. Wallace doesnt seem too excited about it though,

Where has he been complaining about the deep passes? Guy makes one comment after the Jacksonville game echoing his QB, his OC and HC...that the offense sucked that day, and suddenly he's unhappy with not catching enough deep balls????

That's the sickest paRT about him. He makes stuff up to rationalize his bias thoughts. Guy needs a serious reality check.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!
