Jags are not a good team but they do lead the league in QB sacks I believe. Something like 29.
31st ranked offense, 28th defense.
This is exactly the sort of trap game we always fall for....remember last year vs the 0-8 Bucs?
It seems every time we think other teams have a weakness we can exploit it never happens. For instance, running the ball on the Packers.
The Jags have given up as many sacks as they have gotten....29 on offense.
This should be a blowout if Miami is indeed ready to turn the corner. They are not good anywhere in particular but there strengths are at guard and they have a deep d-line. Chris Clemons leads the team with 5 sacks. Their young LT, Joeckel has not been very good.
I actually think it's good they got the monkey off their backs last week, wasn't looking forward to facing a winless team. We have to win this game, no excuses
Agreed, we have to be ready to take it to them from the coin toss this week. Simply can't have any let downs, not only this week but for the rest of the year.
We have the #1 ranked defense, are #11 in scoring and #4 in rushing and have an improving QB. We should be able to play conservatively by running the ball quite often and still come out with the win...unless that is, we have a let down. We have to play a claen game though.

I believe we are the #4 ranked defense in yards. #4 in passing yards allowed, #10 in rushing yards allowed. Not quite #1 yet.
#15 in points allowed.
There is no way their offense can compete with our defense UNLESS as you say, we have a complete break down...which is unlikely.
Their rushing defense is their strength and not much different than ours. Jags pass D is ranked 30th in yards and 6th worst in points given up.
If RT is allowed to get out of the pocket again, there are not many teams that can defend that. Short passing game and a running QB spells misery for Jax.
I dont know that that is true that he does not inspire players. They bounced back really well after a really negative loss. Tannehill is playing much better since Philpins non support.

The Seahawks have the same record as Miami. Does that mean Pete Carroll is not inspiring them?
Jags have played their opponents fairly tough this season. Hope the Phins don't let their guard down, but with this Jekyl and Hyde team..it would be par for the course.
The offense needs to come out of the gate well and not look back.. For the most part the Jags have a real tough time putting points on the board...

"The Dolphins are 1st in total defense with 313.7 yards allowed a game. The Dolphins are fourth in rushing yards allowed a game and 10th in passing yards. They rank 11th with 11 turnovers – though their eight forced fumbles is tied for second."
It doesn't matter at this point. What's done is done. We now just have to find a way to utilize the Ireland pick or showcase him this week if they want to make a trade before the 10-28-14 trade deadline.

Lol. Do you still think he has any trade value at this point?
His trade value is nil. He was recently asked if he was in good enough condition to play on Sunday, and his reply according to third party (hearsay) was he's "not sure." NOT SURE?
I still have faith in Jordans ability... I hope the organization and his veteran teammates surround and support this guy on and off the field.... If they can do that, that would correct what would seem to have been holding him back. It surely isn't his athleticism or his football skill, the guy is a freak... He is either going to be a hero or a zero IMO.. There is going to be no in between with this guy... I wouldn't trade him, IMO we need to see this one through, good or bad... Nothing would be worse then to have him flourish for somebody else in the future with what we have invested in him draft picks and cap space...

We have our WLB but now Misi is hurt again so we me end up with Trusnik as the MLB again. It would be nice to get Jordan some snaps at SLB as Von Miller is doing. (NFL sack leader)
I wonder where Tripp has been. I am still of the mind that he needs to add much more muscle to his frame and won't be a factor until next year after an off season.
