Finally! Tannehill does what he needs to do

since he got that pick in the endzone back, Tannehill played excellently. I think- I hope- Tannehill learned what it takes to bring a team back from the adversity of a kickoff runback for a TD to score twice to win the game. I think this is a huge step for the rookie- a step Chad Henne never took. This was something I think we all needed to see. GO DOLPHINS!

Of course, you do realize that Chad Henne's second NFL start was a 4th quarter come from behind win against the Jets on MNF? And that he had 3 4th quarter comebacks that year?
I still see that RT needs work but I also see things in him that I haven't seen in a Miami QB for a long time. I like that he decided to run for a few first downs today. That was huge. (4/33 yards) 3 first downs. He needs to use all his abilities to be successful as a rookie. Look at Luck, RG, Newton and Wilson. RT had a 97.1 rating today.

Me too.
Didn't like that he didn't see the LB on his 1st half INT or that he made a horrible decision to throw back into the middle of the field in the red zone.
But EVERY young QB makes that mistake at least once. Its a throw you can get away with in college. They all have to learn eventually that you can't make that throw in the NFL.
Its the first time I remember him making that choice. Hopefully, its also the last time.
good to see rt run for a change. guy was a WR in college, he's got the open field ability and is fast. his althetic ability is the reason he got drafted where he did so it's good to see him finally use it

Hartline caught two.. count 'em two.
Fasano, Bush, and Thomas each caught one, although Bush's was for negative yardage.
The best part is that Tannehill didn't get down from 3 consecutive losses and some very bad play. He bounced back with confidence. He made a couple of bad throws but he also took the game in his hands to extend a few other drives (running) or get into FG territory.

Thats dead on. The last couple of weeks he looked horrible at stepping up. To me the improvement this week on that issue is more evidence that: 1.) He and or the staff see his issues and are working on correcting them. 2.) More importantly, HE HAS THE TALENT TO IMPROVE. Something I don't think we have been able to say of the QB position for a while now.

It helped that Jake Long finally started to block for him again......
