What Team Shows Up to Play?

Robert Louis Stevenson wrote "The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde." We all know the movie version.

After watching several games this past week, I have to wonder if some teams are taking some elixir to become inspired and the following week after the elixir wears off they return to the meek and mild and unispried Mr. Hyde and can't play a lick. It's a question of, What team is going to show up?

That certainly happened again in Thursday's rousing game between the Vikings and the Packers. The game was so lopsided, so boring I fell asleep and didn't find out that the Vikings finally scored until this morning. The guys in the booth must despise games like this.

The Vikings fans...they looked miserable.

Right, Colonel. I was about to start a thread expressing the same sentiments after see Thursday's game which reminded me of how we beat New England and then turned around and got thrashed by the Bills.

IMO this the THE TIME for Mr. Tannehill to make HIS definitive N F L arrival statement -- and put another superlative performance on the books!

No phonies. No crybabies. No coitusback impersonators. We need Mr. "I've go a hotrod wife stashed for later" to put his big-boy jock on and show some balls! Don't care if its Brazilian style wax or electric shave -- we need a smooth operator on the field matriculating the pig down the field to the swine promised land! Score!

Oh yea baby! And do it again. And squeal some more. Don't stop
until the cheese is entirely eaten. And you're rolling in the fat of victory!

But like I said. My

Opinion. Of

course.

BNF.

I want to address the SNF game between the Bengals and NE. Again, Jekyll and Hyde performance with these two teams.

NE was playing at home before a National audience and the Bengals acted like they were there to watch NE play, except it was against them.

NE all of a sudden had their act together. Brady looked sharp as did his o-line. His receivers got open and with time to throw, Brady connected repeatedly. It was another mismatch, this time in favor of NE.

I watched thinking, finally, a good team will take it to NE. Wrong. what a huge disappointment. If NE is declining, they still have something left in the tank.

We better not take them for granted. No opponent should.

interesting season so far..... it is all playing out like normal. I too thought the Bengals would beat them

for some reason the Bengals have issues with our division.

I guess Belixheat tried to not cheat first couple of games but realized his team can not win unless he cheats so....
