People can only guess what RT's ceiling is compared to someone else. He was thrown to the wolves from the get go IMO, and for a young QB who didn't have much experience in college I think he can still grow further that where he is.
Reps and experience will do wonders for him. Patience from fans is hard to come by in today's NFL, but we need some patience with regards to RT, he needs the reps and experience. In addition to that some quality coaching could help tremendously with him.
Interesting read. But I don't see how it really applies to Ryan Tannehill. Basically in this media driven /internet/twitter happy world , these players do not have a chance unless they come out swinging and get a superbowl within 5 yrs.
Tannehill has shown he can be great........its the head Coach not putting him in a position to succeed.
treasure, you blame everyone and everything but tannehill.
bad game? coaches or drops.
good game? all tannehill.
Sherman and his system sucked. He's had 4 games in Lazor's system and has looked good twice and sucked twice.
The coaches can only do so much. At some point tannehill will have to make everyone around him better. he'll have to overcome some of those drops and put the team on his shoulders.
He's shown he has the ability he just needs to do it on a more consistent basis. There's going to be games where the team plays poorly. That's when you need your stud QB to win the game.

That's what you want to see. Take 2 seconds and do a bit of research before you make accusations. I have clearly stated that the Chiefs game was Tannehills worst. Most of that was on him. But he did have a few drops in that game as well. However throw the Fing ball away brother........
Read and you will see where I said That I saw Moore do somethings I wish Tannehill would more often , like side step and get rid of it.
But the bulk of it being dropped on his doorstep YES, Is coaching and dropped passes (Most in the NFL) and a New Oline. Absolutely.
I favor him, but I do not ever not see fault when there is . I do not believe he is perfect , but he needs a Team , a solid team. he will run circles around them and easily place Top 10 once everyone else does their job.
Treasure, even FootballGod is a rank amateur in the category of being an officious fingerpointer critic when matched against JSM08. "Just HIS Opinion" is really something he believes comes down from the mountain.
