Too bad they weren't missed that much. Wilson did a good job in coverage and was ok vs the run. I still think he is too slight to last long though. He was almost put out of the game.

This will also mean the release of two players. Most likely Sammy Seamster and Jason Fox.

I love Jimmy Wilson. The little engine that could. That was a HIT put on him by the Pats. He was speared.....I want to see if the NFL follows up with some fines on them this week. But as much as I dig the little guy , Jones is a great player when he wants to be. I see him coming back revitalized and making some serious turnovers for us.

Jordon? I'm pulling for the kid. I really feel he needs to be put in a position to succeed. DE is not it. Linebacker/safety maybe? Special Teams they need to play him around some and find his sweet spot.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Can you imagine our front 7 with Jordan and McCain at OLB?

You read my mind Bro! Wheeler and Ellerbe getting hurt might be the best thing for this team. Lets get Jordon is a position to succeed.

How do you think Dion Jordan is reacting to what he is seeing from UDFA rookie, Chris McCain. Think he is motivated?

If he is the right kind of Kid he is. Look at where Wake came from. Now McCain. What are YOU bringing to the table after the Dolphins blew 2 high rounder's on you? Talk is cheap. Time to show up and perform brother. I'm sure the Team is behind him. Our Linebacker corps is thin.....the stage could not be more perfectly set for him. I would love it to see him excel at that spot with McCain.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

It would definitely be out of the norm to have two 6'6 OLB's.

We actually ran a 5-2 defensive scheme at times last week.. With Odrick, Mitchell, and Starks in the middle with Cam Wake and Vernon acting as pseudo OLB's... I think Jordan would fit that 5-2 scheme pretty well and I imagine he will be used in it...

I'm interested in what are the punishments in light of the fact that the first instinct of the NFL was to do only two games to Ray Rice (even without seeing the inside elevator video but still they knew it was domestic violence.)

So take the wrong type of vitamin and you get suspended, punch a woman and you (now) get 6 games.

ChyrenB buddy..as a lawyer , let me ask you:

Since Ray Ray was suspended for the domestic violence before the new rules, even though there is new evidence , doesn't double jeopardy take effect here? He might have legal recourse to be playing again soon IMO. The NFL just didn't want to appear as if they condoned the incident. Not taking Rays side , just stating the obvious.

I hope his wife gets help. She doesn't realize she is a victim.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Treasure that is a good question, but since the Ravens let him go he has no recourse.

Another team would be insane to pick him up.

Just saw this now, Treasure.

Gasp! dolphin is right!

The suspension (2 games) was effectively mooted out (legal term for 'it doesn't make any difference now') by his being RELEASED by the Ravens.

So, theoretically in WEEK THREE, he could play again but not for the Ravens because they released him.

and as dolphin says, what ever team would DARE pick him up...now or FOREVER....

My boy Richie Igcognito has a better chance, small though it may be, of getting picked up by a team than Ray Rice.

His career is OVER with a capital Oh!

First off, a man should NEVER hit a woman.

Second, unless I am wrong, Ray spit at her while she was walking by him on the way to the elevator. Then he spit a second time in the elevator.

Third, a man should NEVER hit a woman.

SamSam, if you watch the tape it looks like Rice spit on her twice, once before they got in the elevator. And what made her come at him when he knocked her out, looked like he spit on her and then she came at him and he knocked her out.. I am not disputing that she might have spit on him at some point but it surely looked like he was the one doing the spitting more then it looked like she did...

And yes I agree I don't support either of them.. She is a dream killer and they were both going at each other.. Which is foolish on both of their parts... But IMO Ray looked like the instigator more then her in the footage.. But we also didn't see what happened before they got into frame of the video...

Crowder maybe im explaining myself wrong.......to the others....

First of all a man should never hit a woman i agree with capkoi there...

My whole point on this is if a person comes at you.....you have the right to defend yourself....

Some people say she spit at him and some vise versa...

She had to do something really bad to him for him to behave like an animal like that.

I think they were both wrong.

And again...........I believe he deserves jail time for what he did.

I was taught to never lay a hand on a woman. as much as some women want to act like men you still have to be the bigger person and remove yourself from the situation.

punch a wall, a door, but not her.

Now if she pulls a weapon all bets are off. It's self defense.

My take. If a woman wants to wear her overies on the outside then all bets are off. She did not hit him so he should not have laid her out. I guarantee you she will never lunge at a man again. I bet he will never punch another woman again.
