Don't hate it , its just not my national past time. Seeing that I am a minority in south Fla, I'm not surprised at all that the stadium is sold out. I hope they don't mess up the field. sad smiley

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

" Brazil 0, Colombia 0" Wow- I don't think I could stand the excitement of watching a bunch of admittedly excellent athletes running up and down a huge field for however long a half is in soccer and scoring- nothing. Or "nil", as they say - a lot. I don't hate this sport either, i'm just totally indifferent to it.

If that was the NFL they would change the rules to make it more high scoring........

EX: new Soccer Commissioner Goodell states:

Goalies can no longer lift their arms above their heads and if after you kick the ball it hits a player , That's a free shot.

20 yrs from now , soccer players with knee problems are gonna sue..........

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

That is absolutely correct!

LOL

I would really like for soccer scores to be more like baseball scores at least....you know maybe a few 4-2 and 5-3 scores. But I'm not sure how to do that without drastically changing the game, as you mentioned above.

In this past World Cup I was rooting for Germany and I certainly enjoyed their 7 - 1 thrashing of Brasil but, the 1 - 0 final win over Argentina was a much more exciting well played game. As huge as the nets are it's a wonder the scores aren't higher. Well executed zone defenses on the fly are a thing of beauty.

You know what else about scoring in soccer: remember when they began prohibiting the goalies from touching the ball with their hands when their own players passed it back to them? I thought that would make boost the number of goals per game. But I don't think it did. Definitely made the game better, but I didn't think it brought up the total of goals.

Anyway, on to American Football. Go PHINS!
