Josh Kline takes over for Logan Mankins in NE. He is an UFA from last year with 115 snaps under his belt.

NE's starting o-line as of now is....

LT Vollmer (Much better pass blocker than run but also good in run game)
LG Kline (young, inexperienced and has looked good in PS)
C Wendell (terrible pass blocker, good run blocker)
RG Connolly (terrible pass blocker, good run blocker)
RT Solder (very good at both but an excellent pass pro)

They could be very vulnerable up the middle. Double teams on Wake and more attention to Vernon now and all of the sudden they have to deal with our 3-headed monster at DT. Look out Tommy boy. Oh, and Coyle likes to blitz up the middle.

Could they be transitioning into a ferocious run-based team? I haven't seen them invest too much in the passing game aside from that new QB they picked up.

I believe they already did.

2012: 523 run to 402 pass

The Patriots losing great offensive linemen a couple weeks before we play them is good news... Especially since one of the strongest parts of our team is our pass rush... And the best way to beat the Patriots is to hit Tom Brady a lot... Definitely good news...
