at a certain point, you can stockpile all the late round picks you want but what if all the good players are gone when we finally decide to pick.

You have to be sure:

a) the guy you are confident that you can get in the late rounds doesn't go

and

b) that the guy is good.

Now I did post that we could get good o linemen in the later rounds starting with 3rd.

But I didn't mean trade away the second round. I just meant rely on the third round.

Have your cake and eat it too.

My real concern is that I'm not satisfied with our running backs.

I'd like a big guy and one just went from Ohio State Carlos Hyde.

And I was tempted by Jimmy Garropolo (spelling) thinking that he might just be good to pick up as a hedge on Tanny and he's now gone to the Patriots.

I always thought Garropulo was better than Teddy or Bortles and I thought Johnny Football was too much like Tanny for us to have picked.
