Remaining Cap Room and targets?

How much do we have left? And who might we be looking at?

Not sure what we have left, but we still need AT LEAST one more O-lineman, we need a starting caliber LG/RG/RT, I would bet Hickey is waiting to get a little bit cheaper option here.
Also, if we re-sign Starks, you can eliminate having to take a D-lineman in the 1st round this. Opens up our draft options a little bit.

We need a RT and an OG but pickings are slim there.

Maybe Streif and dhal?

After that we should be looking at LB's, a RB and I'd kick the tires on Owen Daniels.

Should be around 29.5 mil remaining assuming Mitchell's cap hit is around 3 mil and a 1m break for Martin deal.

Still need....

High need for LG, RG, RT,

Moderate need for RB, LB, DT, CB, FB

potential need for TE, FS

I would go after.....

Zach Streif, Travelle Wharton

how about they coach up dallas thomas at one guard spot. 3rd round picks should be able to contribute.

One man's 3rd round pick is another's 6th rounder.

Love the Mack idea and then go get Captain Munnerlyn CB and Brandon Spikes MLB.

Maybe resign McKinnie and Clabo as back ups. They know the system already and let Thomas and Brenner fight for the other guard spot.

Free agent running back to help stretch the field for Tanny? He went for almost 4000 yds behind the worst Oline in NFL History. Imagine an improved Oline and running game?

5,000 is NOT far off..........

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Ian Rapoport ?@RapSheet 1h

What’s going on with #Browns center Alex Mack? I’m told 4 teams have been in contact on varying levels. Waiting for the frenzy to die down

Maybe a 60 Million dollar, 5 year deal, with 30 million dollars guaranteed...to Revis.

Imagine our secondary with him in it. Imagine what Grimes and Revis could do behind Vernon, Starks, Wake, and Jordan each rushing QB's to throw early.

Depending on how the contract would be structured, that is a hell of a lot money for one guy, even if it is Revis Island. Sure, Miami's defense would (probably) improve greatly, but would they be able to get the team to the playoffs if Miami doesn't improve their OL and protect RT?

I would have no problem signing Revis if he was the missing piece to get the team to the Super Bowl, but that is not the situation Miami is in.

The contract he will (probably) be looking for, IMO, would be too high for Miami's situation. Let's get the Fins on solid ground and capable of competing for the playoffs before going crazy with a contract (see Mike Wallace).

Moot point anyway since he's a Patriot now.

I'd kick the tires on Samson Satele as a guard/backup C.

I like Davin Joseph but the fact that he's not been on our radar yet reminds me if the Matt Flynn situation when Philbin first got here. Seems we have inside info that has us shying away.

I'd go after Streif or Clabo to play RT and I'd sign one guard who can play LG (satele?).

After that, I'm looking for a bargain RB and two LB's.

I wouldn't mind taking a look at Owen Daniel either.

Franchise tag is for "offensive linemen". Not distinguished between positions of G, T or C.

Now former Dolphins CB Nolan Carroll has signed with Philadelphia, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Shelley Smith is a very good run blocker. Not so much as a pass protector although in 10 games he gave up only 2 sacks. Both as a RG. He can play LG or RG.

Would be a good pickup IMO.

Asomoah signed w/ ATL for 4.5 mil against the cap. He would have looked good beside Albert. Well Smith has youth and not too much wear on him so we will see.

Some of the top guards that Miami tried to get were offered huge contract and we weren't even in the ball park. Bad news for us if we can't find at least 1 guard and a RT in FA. Shelly Smith looks like he could compete but he doesn't look like a penciled in starter.

So much for using the 1st pick of the draft any way we want, looks like lineman in the draft for us. 2 or 3 anyhow
