Martin's Agent....
Posted by: captkoi ()

....is going to meet with the Dolphins sometime this week.

He says Martin is ready to get back on the playing field and "He misses his teammates and the locker room camaraderie."

LoL. What a guy.

Another team, Jonathan, another team. Sigh!

The NFL network was highly speculating last night that Martin would go to the Colts and be reunited with Luck.

The Dolphins will be politically correct and install a Tampon dispenser in the Locker room for him.

here's something else no one has mentioned--

the wells report concluded that the agent's claim of a "vicious physical assault" on martin never happened. I.e., it was either totally exaggerated or made up.

so martin thru his agent exaggerates/makes up a salacious event and goes piblic with it to make martin look like a victim and incog look like an aggressor, but apart from that wells concludes that in every other instance martin was telling the truth about how all this affected him and he was acting in good faith here. something doesn't add up here, but no one focuses on this part of the report since it doesn't fit the larger narrative of Martin as the poor picked on 300 pound victim

The N F L is a fraud league.

Get over it. For the most part -- the games suck, the officiating obviously favors certain teams/players, the scheduling obviously favors certain teams, and now there's an obvious AGENDA being implemented.

Seriously. You'd have to have your head up your ass to not see what's going down.

My opinion. Of course.

I'm not always on the level with you BNF. But your spot on in this one. Anything this big , the NFL, it will get corrupt eventually. It is and it has. The 1970's are long gone and Football is not what it used to be. Social Media has also changed every way we look at it. Will look at it. And those that run Social media will decide what the publics hears.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

If you were a gm would you give up a 2nd round pick for a guy who was rated the 2nd WORST OT in the league when he showed up for work, who quit on his teammates mid season, checked himself into a looney bin for evaluation, admitted to contemplating suicide on more than one occasion, and who wasn't man enough to complain about or confront his "issues" with his teammates so instead chose to blow up his teams season?

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and suppose there isn't any way in hell you'd make that trade.

So if you wouldn't, why would you assume that two of the best run organizations in the NFL would be so stupid as to make a deal like that?

Get what we can for Martin and close the books on this sorry episode. Incog apologist can say what they want but this BS was a problem and we you have stupid shit like this going on in your locker room it prevents you from winning. Stupidity becomes more important than accomplishing the mission. Incog Pouncey and Jerry people continue to wonder why we had OLine problems and this shit is why. Call Martin what you want but the real pussies are Incog and Pouncey. These are the guys that put this franchise in this position.

We're not paying him anything right now, it makes perfect sense to at least wait until the draft to see if someone doesn't fill a need and offers us a 2015 late round pick for him. We'd be lucky to get that, but dropping him now gains you nothing IMO.

other than making the story go away faster and making him someone elses problem.

Not much market for a turnstile tackle unless you're last name is Columbo and Jeff ireland is a GM.

Martin can go to the colts and do luck instead of the real deal.

The real deal walks straight.

Right on Sam. I'll be honest , I don't see any Team taking a chance on him. Who would want such a whining crying victimized mental mess of a human being ? This is the NFL not some Boys club. You have issues you need to deal with them. Not project them on to other people. He's done. Stick a fork in his lame ass.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

I agree. we are not getting more than a conditional 6th for this clown. dumping him now shows we are moving on from this embarrassment. worth more than a 6th rounder IMO. we need to get the focus off this garbage and onto putting a competitive team on the field.

I'd keep Martin, make him practice, travel with the team, dress for all games, sit him on the bench, and eat his salary...he could watch the games for the rest of his contract.

I'd do everything I could to make him retire, and even then, I'd retain his rights so he couldn't come back with another team.

Treasure, there will be at least one team that will take a chance on him.

He is a big man that can play either tackle position; teams need that. I'm not saying he did a really good job, but he can hold down the fort for some team.

Because of the Wells report, everyone is know saying that Incognito will not be able to get a job. I disagree in that he is still a good OG, although a team would have to have strong leadership to be able to keep him under control and bring the best out of him.

He may not get a team right away, but somewhere during the season when a team has OL troubles, he will get a call.

I agree Ken, we didn't let Ricky go and it worked out for us. I don't care if it works out for us , I just don't want Martin to gain from this.

If Martin lived up to his potential, he would never have had any problems in our locker room IMO... Whether Martin admits it or not, all of his problems derived from poor play and being a highly touted tackle coming out of college and not living up to his draft position on the NFL football field...

With how poorly he played, he might have been worth a long shot conditional 6th rd, but add in his play and distractions level, nobody is going to give us anything for him... Teams know we don't want him, so why would they give us anything for him?

Pretty soon the Dolphins will release or trade Martin. Then Martin will get what he has really been after: a fresh start with another team at LT and a 2nd chance at the big money contract he has been after all along.

They just announced at a NFL News conference that the Refs will be penalizing for ANY on the field off color or racist remarks. That goes for Black on Black use of the "N" word. Martin will not be popular in any Locker room. His career is over. Invest wisely.

Big money contract? Are you high? The guy sucks at LT or RT, he got bull rushed by a 190lb CB last year... And his PFF stats are bottom of the barrel for tackle position on his best day...
