Maybe on the dolphins. His performance on the field was great , albeit for a short 3-4 seasons. I'm not even going to compare Zach Thomas to him because its disgraceful to even have to do so. Mercury Morris needs to STFU and be grateful the Dolphins organization still talks to him and includes him in anything they do. Let alone cut down one of the Teams most prominent ex players and a sure 1st ballot hall of famer.

Merc did some great things while with the Fins, but too many negatives for him to complain about someone else getting in the ROH ahead of him.

Was the main guy when Zonk and Kiick departed, and didn't do much.

Had personality problems with Shula and got traded.

Had the drug problems and spent time in jail.

Zach? Led the team throughout his time with Miami and was a stand up citizen.

Easy decision as to who goes into the ROH.

Exactly. I did something about 2 yrs ago on the Job. I was just in the right place at the right time and I took care of business. It just happened to be one of those times when there was a lot more going on. People getting laid off promotions, so work morale was low all around and I never did get anything but a pat on the back.

Not the department is in full swing again , they are hiring and it seems they are giving out awards to people for everything trying to up morale. My point is I would NEVER say what about the time I did such and such? where's my award? LOL. Never ever. You either give it to me or you don't. I got paid . I'm good. Really.

But to ASK for it? really? And on top of it , to piss on a future Hall of Famer? Does he even realize how he pissed on the Miami dolphins legacy? He was a selfish player in the 70's and he probably blames the Dolphins for his short falls later in life. That victimization complex really pisses me off. Reminds me of Jonathan Martin.

LOL about your last sentence Treasure. Poor Jonathan. Before he was even born, NOW AS I RECALL, during the heyday of Griese and the SuperBowl Miami Dolphins there was a pseudo publicity campaign that labelled LARRY CSONKA AND JIM KIICK as "Butch Cassidy and the SunDance Kid" and as I recall.................Mercury Morris at that time publicly grumbled about it although it was then just at the level of a murmur.

So Mercury has been this way a LONG TIME so it is better to say that Jonathan learned from Mercury AND NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND.

If Merc didn't fumble he probably would have started ahead of Kiick. He was better than Kiick but Shula did not tolerate fumbling. Merc's an idiot the walk of fame is a gimme to him from the team take it and be gracious. There are more players deserving of that honour. I am still waiting on honours for Curtis Johnson, Seiple and Den Herder. I think they should be honoured.
