first, moore never backed up pennington, you're thinking of henne.
second, the bills game was the epitome of matt moore and why he will never be a winning starting QB. too inconsistent. great one throw, horrible the next. great one game, horrible the next. good one season, awful the next.

Chren i agree they should not played tannehill after the injury, the game was lost.

And as far as Matt Moore i feel bad for the kid. Its not easy to come off the bench cold like that.

But i always stand by what i say....He is just a backup.

I wish he would become the next dan but thats just the way i see it.

IMO Matt Moore showed why he is a backup. He is a scrappy, smart player but just doesn't have the ability to win games with his arm when EVERYBODY in the stadium knows we are going to be throwing it. Down 19-0 4th qtr, their D could pretty much just line up and blitz every down.

Now, is this in stark contrast to our QB in the first three quarters?

Uh....nope. Tannehill is blessed with more physical ability tham Moore and he HAS had some clutch last min drives this year. However, after two years of starting, the inconsistency in things like pocket awareness, not locking on to receivers and accuracy continue...troublesome to be sure, but saying so around here gets you put on the naughty list

Tanny has no pocket awareness. He looks like a deer in the headlights, even when he throws successfully. But BOY, look at his face each time he rolls out and Look at his missile arm when he throws on the rollout.
