Interesting Retrospective

As much turmoil as we have had and as bad as we are, We are 5-5.

But we lost those five games by a total of 39 points altogether.

However, 21 points of those was to New Orleans and 10 to the Patriots, leaving a 3 games lost by only 8 points total.

So what does that say?

Fill in your answer below even if you believe it says nothing.

It says that some people are way too concerned with statistics.

Parity in the NFL dictates that games will be close. The games we won were close too.

IMO, it means that if Miami had better coaches, they might have been able to figure out how to get one more TD per game which would have them aiming for the division crown instead of hoping for the last wild card spot!

LOL. Perhaps. Never thought of myself as a stat geek. In fact, I've criticized them on this board.

But I truly did not know the answer to my own question.

except it might say that we are really not that bad of a team.

Yeah, someone made a good point about our wins being close too.

May point to overall parity like was said.

I long for the days when you could actually watch GOOD FOOTBALL on Sunday. A mix of excellent run blocking, hard-hitting D, powerful running backs, and NOT a coitusback on the field!

I mean nowadays these guys have their tampons replaced at half time while reading Women's Day. Of course no one epitomizes the sham the NFL has become more than the Lady in NE.

I can't even watch an entire quarter anymore let alone a whole game.

I can’t wait for Monday Night Volleyball.

Oh yea!

BNF.
