We all know one of our teams weakness's is covering the TE... But last night we did a great job at it... I am not sure what you guys noticed as to why we were able to do this and I am curious to hear your thoughts...
From what I saw, because Patterson and Grimes were both playing, they left them one on one with the WRs for the most part, and bracket covered the TE most of the game with a LB and safety... Without corners like Patterson and Grimes playing as they did, we can't afford to leave our corners alone on the island... But when they are healthy and play well, we can, and that allows us to bracket the TE... Which makes us a much better pass defense...

What did you guys see?

Your analysis sounds good, I'd need to see coach tapes to see what exactly happened but all in all they did a great job containing a solid offense.

One word dimitri paterson............he has his man one on one and so does the other corner from the falcons....


We now have more guys to cover the tend.
