If the ball breaks the plane and the player either rb or receiver has possession of the ball while the ball breaks the plane it should be called a td. I agree..

Are you saying he had possession of the ball inside the endzone, the defender wrestled the ball away after he had possession and it was called incomplete.

I don't see how thats possible.

I'm pretty sure they ruled it incomplete because the Jesters had to settle for a field goal.

I agree with CharimenB.

The Cheats get every advantage consistently including calls, scheduling and "promotionalism."

It's absolutely nauseating.

If the cheats get that call against the jets it doenst hurt as much as if they got that call against anybody else in the league.

But i do agree the cheats get every call....

The play where the score went from 10-0 to 10-3. Look it up on NFL.com. I don't know who the Jester receiver was but it was a strip and not a drop.

LOL. Seems like upon further review the Cheatriots Referees even tried to cheat the Jesters out of the consolation prize field goal.

"Why Not return to an Instantaneous Possession in the Endzone Rule?"

Because then all a patriot receiver would have to do is reach out and touch the ball while it flies through the end zone and they'd call it a possesion and a TD smoking smiley

I say that jokingly but in all seriousness the refs will use WHATEVER rule to favor who they want to. I remember thinking the very thing about some of those 'catches' Jerry Rice used to make. He would literally stretch out on the side line and seemingly just touch the ball while his feet were in bounds and they'd call it a catch.

Good point, KB. I never thought of that.

And just to prove your point that the NFL is in their pocket, I have used the nfl.com site many times to look at special plays in games I did not see.

When you reach the "play by play" section of the "scores" section, you will note that certain big plays are shown on tape noted "WATCH HIGHLIGHTS" .

Isn't it funny that this play, arguably the most crucial play of the game, was not deemed by the NFL to be a "highlight" let alone the most significant "highlight" of the game.

and if you note above, the "assistant replay official" called for the replay even though it is supposed to be automatic....

AND.... note that the review overturned the call of touchdown on the field although clearly there was no indisputable evidence either way.

The whole thing basically amounts to a matter of time.

Obviously, if you give the opposition THE WHOLE DAMN DAY to strip the ball, eventually they will.

I can't see how it was "visually indisputable" that the ball was knocked out so contemporaneously with the possession that you could call an incomplete pass.

To tell the truth, from my memory, they were wrestling each other but the Patsie eventually knocked it out of his grasp.

Kraft must be blowing the head of the NFL's referee committee. Ugh!

Im able to watch all the games now...

Chren do you got comcast?

Aftr seeing the colts oakland game it seems luck was able to scramble and get some yardage on the ground..he even score a rushing td..

We need to put someone just to prevent that.

I don't have comcast as others have noted, every year I'm a rape victim of DirecTV.
