Jerry's backup could be any of these....

Watkins, Garner, Thomas...hey I didn't say they were good options.

Dion Sims will be the starter by mid-season.

I agree...

1. Charles Clay showed some potential last year. Faded away in 2013 preaseason.

2. Egnew was a bust last year but made it to PS because he was drafted. He improved his play expecially his blocking in this years pre season. I hope he improves even more.

3 Dion Sims showed some receiving ability in pre season this year and has the most upside of all three....Probably needs to add some weight to his frame.

Maybe watkins can still play. Anyways i hope jerry can stay healthy. We might be in trouble if he goes down with injuries again.

I think so too.

LOL ...the only problem i see there JC is then there is going to be a qb controversy of who do we play tebow or matt moore.

The coaches might not know who's better between the two scrubs.

Agreed! And he stinks. Imagine how good tebow is.

Yeah, SamSam has slammed both in his prior posts. I would like to see a list of quarterbacks that he RESPECTS in the NFL.

That would be more practical because it would be a much shorter list. It would say Tannehill and then.... uh....uh.....uh......

Even as a Tannehill supporter myself he makes me mad when he disrespects other professional football players. That's why I go after him.

See... while I was typing he was typing that Moore stinks.

How is he any different from dolfan1 and dolphin when he puts down our players like that?

Dude, you have severe jealousy issues.

How do you take it when a guy pays attention to your wife?

You are so jealous of anyone who might challenge Tannehill.

Even though Moore is there to back up Tannehill and not challenge him.

You constantly put him down.

Please tell me what I want to hear and that is that you don't like him because you asked him for an autograph and he said he was too busy and had to go.

Then I would think better of you.

JC has a sense of humor unlike you that takes everything so serious. Check your prostate old man. Its probably about to burst.

SamSam....PM Stands for Private Message. I'm not sure why you're airing out the contents of what was meant to be a private message, in the public forum.

And thank you for noticing my sense of humor but I fail to see anything funny about doing that.

Gentlemen:

Nicely back on topic.

samsam was it you who said Ginn's existence as a Dolphin was made worthwhile by the one game when he singlehandedly kicked the Jets' butts by returning two kicks for TDs? I thought it was you, maybe it was someone else or multiple people.

Well, how about Matt Moore? He led us to victory over the Jets last year, that was the most memorable game of the season for me. Hasn't he earned a spot on our roster as the #2 QB just by that logic alone? I like the guy and he has shown himself to be effective when needed, if not the #1 guy on the depth chart. I hope he has a Strock or Morrall-like career with the Phins.

i wish all of them the best JC. I have nothing againt any of these kids....All im saying is matt moore is not going to take the dolphins anywhere.

And the same goes to tebow....all the blessings to him....but i didnt see him as an nfl qb way before he was drafted and i sure do not see him starting for any team anytime soon.

BTW....Good One! Do you have to remember about everything i say? Its like you got a dam computer in that head lol. BTW GInn is stinking whereever he is.

haha.

Until tommorrow.

GO PHINS.

PS> I have the right as a fan to say a player stinks. Nobody can take that away from me. smiling smiley

I guess dolfan1 and dolphin also have a right to say a player (like Tannehill) or our whole team "stinks."

We know they have that right but we ask them not to do it.

Simple.

OL no depth = no talent worthy of a roster spot

WR no depth = no talent worthy of a roster spot.

Like I said before the cuts -- DL and DB are deep.

TE = 3 is all that's justified (see the talent deficiency noted above).

RB = Gray played himself out of a spot = my biggest disappointment. Glad I'm not a relative.

QB = 3 is definitely 1 too many. I'd unload Moore if at all possible because he's a journeymen at best in a WCO.

Losing AJ Francis to the cheater in chief known as Billygoat sucked. The kid is a player but we just had too much talent on the DL.

Miami Dolphin 2013 Questions:

easy # 1 = Thill. Is he legit or a fake? I'm not convinced either way. The kid ha s a LOT to prove and a LONG way to go…

#2 Significant holes in the "O" including OL TE and WR depth. At best we're a mid pack O. At worst we suck. But we're definitely not a scoring machine at this point. Getting 3 TDs a game is going to be a real challenge, which means the D (obviously) has to carry the load. They just might be up to it…

#3 Can Philbin actually become an effective upper-echelon NFL HC? I have concerns about his obvious homerism and supreme reliance on all his ancient connections dating back to freaking HS. I'm concerned the dude is a tad too anal and overly "scripted" as opposed to being a highly creative football mind. In fact I'm pretty sure he's essentially formula driven -- and that's a big disappointment based on what I was hoping for…

#4 Will the sexy ass cheerleaders finally take off all their scant clothing and get down to serious business? I think its about time.

My opinion. Of course.

BTW -- where the hell is that Berk guy???

Is he dead??? Or a converted J E T S fan???

Alain Poupart @apoupartFins
DT A.J. Francis was released Saturday by the New England Patriots. Don't be surprised if he lands on the #Dolphins practice squad.
