Damn, this sucks for Dan, but the Jets cut him also, not good for your resume to get cut by 3 teams in a week, hope he lands on his feet somewhere.

From Pro-Bowler in '09 to the bargain basement in '13. That's life in the NFL when you choke & miss game winning Sparanos.

It was pretty bad timing for him & his wife to have their first kid, & I knew that Sturgis was going to beat him out. He probably had to sign for the vet minimum in Buffalo.

I am glad we have Sturgis. I think he is better. That said Carpenter would still be playing and an all pro if he played for Sparano.
