Barry Jackson ?@flasportsbuzz 48s
Am told Dolphins WR Armon Binns suffered torn ACL and MCL today. Out for season. Likely would have been Fins' No. 4 receiver.#dolphins

The Davone Bess trade looks dumb as hell now. I told all of you that you can never have enough quality recievers. I hope you all agree with my sentiments now?

Damn, he was doing great in camp!

Matthews, Fuller Bumphis or McNutt will step up

I would go after Brandon Lloyd he still has some ability, or maybe Steve Breaston

Binns was my dark horse to breakout this year. I am not crying over the Bess trade (yet). I am expecting Tymms to step up. I like him to.

I'm only surprised it took two whole hours for someone to go there!

Also, I don't wanna go out and sign a vet FA, let McNutt, Fuller, Mathews, etc. step up. We got the core of Wallace/Hartline/Gibson, it's time for a young guy to step up to the plate.

Right we don't need to spend a lot for a fourth receiver. A young guy needs to step up the way Binns' was doing and take the position. It's there for the takings!

If anyone wants to know the history of the falling out between THE Truth and Chyren, this is it.

To me THE Truth is as bad on the "suck up" end of supporting the coaching staff and administration as DolfanKing is on the "constantly criticizing" the team side.

I don't think The Truth is the most extreme homer / front office suck up on this site.

That job is TAKEN! Yes I admit it. I"m the homer, I'm the suck-up. I like to listen to the Finsiders show, which is basically owned by the organization. Does that make me a bad guy? spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

I am no fan of Ireland, I also liked Bess and thought we could have used him. However, losing Binns IMO, has nothing to do with Bess... And really shouldnt have much impact on anything, unless Gibson sucks... If Gibson sucks or gets hurt then we have a problem... Right now all we lost was Binns, paying Bess around 3 million a year to be a #4 makes zero sense. If Bess was $500,000 a year guy, and we traded him, and lost Binns, then we could be upset.. But the salaries of the players make them very different situations IMO..

I probably listen to Finsiders as much as anyone around here, JC.. I like Jesse, OJ and Conjemi, and think they put on a good show... FInsiders doesnt make you a homer.... I like listening to SId sometimes to... Does that make me a negative hater..... We are all just fans, who have much more in common then we all like to admit to at times... Opinions are like assholes, everybody has got one, and we all act like one at different times... See how much we have in common...hahahahaha

...because every FO makes their off season moves based on a crystal ball or the fact that they know a specific player will be injured. haha.

Binns has never shown anything but potential which is how we got him in the first place. We all had high hopes but the talent level of our WR corp without Binns is still head and shoulders above what we had last year. So Binns is now better than Gibson and as good as Bess? lol

In all probability Binns would have caught about 15-20 passes this year IF he could have won the 4th spot. He was a HUGE long shot to see significant playing time over Davone's actual replacement....Brandon Gibson who will probably catch about 50 passes. He may not have even beaten out Rishard Mathews as the 4th receiver. We have had way too many training camp heroes over the last decade that didn't even make the 53.

There is no way to prevent injury so blaming the GM is ridiculous. We still have very good depth. You can start worrying if Wallace gets hurt. Heaven forbid!

Lets see what people say when Gibson has 5-8 times the amount of TD's as Bess....and probably 2-3 times as many chunk yardage plays.

Every persons opinion on this site no matter how much you disagree, has a level of validity to it... When we try and be so absolute with what we believe, it leaves no room others opinions to have the validity that it deserves... We are all good people around here IMO, we come here for enjoyment, entertainment, and community...Lets try and remember that part of it... Instead of looking for reasons to disagree, try and find common ground at times, it goes a long way... Truth we now agree 25 percent of the time, that is definitely an upgrade, I think we were between 1-5 percent just 6 months ago, at least what we would admit to....hahahaha. Yes of course I have respect for you and this site, and appreciate the camaraderie that this site provides...

Chyren, you know you are my buddy, and I have great respect for you, but we as a community need, to let sleeping dogs lie, when topics start to degenerate. When we cant let it go, we just seemed to be beating a dead horse, and ruffling each others feathers... For the sake of community we need to rise above that type of stuff.... We all need to take our own opinions a little less serious for this community to strengthen rather then digress... And yes i got 3 animal metaphors in this paragraph...(a dog, a horse and a bird)

I think with this post we can say we only disagree on 74% of things now...

It's hard to know when someone is joking or not with the written word. The easiest way to avoid the problem is to indicate, in one way or another, that it is a joke.

If it comes across as "harsh" and there is no indication it is all in fun, then it will be taken seriously.

Just my opinion, of course.
