Apparently Gillislee signed his rookie contract over the weekend. In the modern age of rookie salary restrictions, this isn't as big a deal as it used to be, but whenever I read a headline such as this I still breathe a mini-sigh of relief.

Whew...get the rest of the boys signed and let's play ball with no holdouts.

That's 4 out of 9 JC.

The others will get signed soon.

If there's going to be a holdout it will be Dion Jordan. We are one of the few teams that insists on "offset language" in our contracts so his deal could get hung up on that.

It cost Tannehill a few days last year before he caved. But the fact that he did cave in makes it easier for Jordan and his agent to accept the language this year. They won't be setting a precedent.
