I am so looking forward to my new Sunday morning soap opera - otherwise known as Your New York Jets.

I think the Bills had a very nice draft.

I thought Manuel was the best QB prospect in the draft.

Woods and Goodwin are two excellent WR prospects.

Love Kiko Alonso. Gonna be a terrific NFL MLB.

Duke Williams is a good get late.

Dustin Hopkins is one of the two best K's in the draft and has a monster leg.

I hate to give the Jets any credit at all, but they did a good job also.

Milliner is a a top shelf CB prospect, even if he's not elite.

Richardson could be a beast in their defense.

Smith was a a good value in the 2nd round at their biggest need. I don't think he's all that great but worth a shot there.

Two, maybe three good/solid O-line prospects.

Loved the Pats first two picks.

Like the Buchanan pick also.

Overall, a good weekend for our division.

Where is Richardson going to play in that defense? They already have two 1st round picks at DE.

It is so hard to tell who had a good draft. Our draft looked more like something Seattle would do than Miami.

Most of these guys were not very well known or highly rated outside of the top 3 picks. I realize that the media (and fans) doesn't really have a clue when it comes to player evaluation but is Ireland getting too cocky?

We moved all around and took players like Jelani Jenkins (4-104) instead of players like David Bakhtiari, Shamarko Thomas, Barrett Jones, Khaseem Greene, Quinton Patton, etc.

We swapped picks, moving from 4-111 to 4-104 (from the Browns for Bess) and received pick 5-164.

We traded down from 3-82 (passing up Stedman Bailey) to the Saints for two 4th rounders (4-106 Dion Sims & 4-109)

We then traded pick 4-109, 4-146 & 7-226 to the Packers for pick 3-93 (Will Davis) over players like Zaviar Gooden, Sam Montgomery, Nico Johnson, Alex Okafor.

Only time will tell but I think the success of Jenkins and Davis will tell whether or not Ireland did the right thing...

and taking Mike Gillislee over players like Ryan Swope, David Quessenberry & Andre Ellington.

I would have liked to land Swope but most teams were scared off.

One thing is for certain. Ireland does not subscribe to Parcels dated concept of size restrictions.

My only issue was the trade up for Will Davis.

Ireland could have stayed at 82 and taken Stedman Bailey, but it doesn't seem like WR was a priority this draft.

I would have rolled the dice that Davis would have fallen from 93 to 109.

That would have given us another 5th and 7th which could have been Quinton Patton/Ryan Swope and Reid Fragel.
