I haven't spoken on Tyler Eifert yet. My comment, he's gonna be a superstar in the NFL very soon.

HOWEVER, we the Miami Dolphins are church mice.

You know what that means in Oklahoma speak?

That means "You're as poor as a church mouse."

Had you said, "Hey, don't trade for Dustin Keller. Just draft Eifert." I would have said "Sounds great."

But we can't afford to do both.

Like WR, we need to look to another position for our overall no. 12 pick.

If we were the Patriots, I'd say "Grab the first future super star you can't."

We ain't.

We're church mice.

We gotta go to another area of need.

Those "seem-threat" TE's don't seem to have much of a life expectancy. Gronk/Hernandez are always hurt. Jimmy Graham too, Dallas Clark? Yeah he was normally done by week 15. The only TE that I can think of that avoided getting banged up too much is future Hall o f'r Tony Gonzalez.

However, we do need a TE. So I would prefer getting T.E. Travis Kelce in the later rounds. He is like an improved Fasano, a strong blocker that will do all the intangible things that stat sheets won't ever show.

Well, Dustin Keller has been around a long time, though injured last year.

Hey! I didn't know he was what we used to call a "townie" at Purdue, a Lafayette resident.

West Lafayette is just basically Purdue with some housing belonging to the Professors (of course my information is about 46 years old.

Lafayette, on the other hand is a little distance away.

Those teenage thug guys wanted to beat up Purdue students. Or they would go into liquor stores and buy beer and liquor for us for a price.
