Looking at that schedule my first impression is that:

If we are 3-2 at the "Bye" week we are set up nicely.

December is mostly on the road, and all cold weather sites, but we get the Jets 2x and the @ Bills.

First impressions....

I will be at the Monday night game in Tampa and probably at the home opener vs ATL.

3 nationally televised games this year.

Payback to Andrew Luck and the Colts week 2.

Nice to have ATL and SD at home.

3 division games to end the season. Not sure that Bills and Jets will be as competitive this year.

3 cold weather games at the end of the season. In NY, Buf, Pit.

Week 14 Mike Wallace goes back to Pit.

We need to win the first two games of the season and hopefully squeeze another win by the bye week. If we can do that we should be in a good spot

That is a real tough 5 game opening stretch, even the Browns game will be challenging since we always seem to lose to them. Oh well, at least the Texans are not on the calender this season. If the Dolphins scrape out 2 wins out of those first 5, it would be a real good thing.

I'm gonna try to make two of those games, maybe Nawlins and/or Cleveland/Indy

That schedule is tough as hell..

only 5 playoff teams and the Ravens are no longer the Ravens after losing 9 starters.

Colts are 50/50 for playoffs. (no Arians)

Chargers, Saints and Steelers will be improved over 2012 but so will we.

We beat Bengals last year.

Not sure that the Chargers and Steelers will be any better.

Chargers have NO offensive line right now.

Steelers lost Wallace on offense and harrison on a defense that is getting older.

Both those teams are going to have work to do just to play at the same level as last year.

The Ravens are taking a big step backwards on defense and losing Boldin will hurt.

Other than NE and Atlanta and maybe New Orleans, is there another team on that list whose roster you'd take over ours?

I see us being at worst 9-7 at best 11-5 if we have some breaks go our way this year. A couple of CB's that can hold on to the ball can't be bad either. Good bye Sean Smith.
