I would make our best offer with a deadline for acceptance, and then move on to keller, Meyers who make not be as much of a deep threat but are still decent tight ends, Myers or Keller and Fasano with some WR threats could really open up the passing game

I hope we resign Fasano... Letting him walk creates a hole, Fasano is a very versatil TE, who does alot for this team... I would hope we spend some of that money on a CB.. I am indiffernt about Cook, which means at the right price yes, overpay, no..

I don't know about 6 mil a year. Even if we drafted Eifert at 12. He could put up just as good numbers as Cook...but for 2.6 mil a year.

Cook was raw coming out of college and had only 74 yards as a rookie. He isn't even a TE really. More of a large WR. We will still need someone who can block in this offense. I am second guessing Cook if the price tag is over 4 mil a year.

I also think Eifert can block better and is much bigger..better red zone target.

I doubt that very much. Gronk makes 6.8 mil a year....Witten makes 7.14 mil.

That would make Cook the highest paid TE in the league.

I expected this, Fisher seems to be trying to get his whole damn team from Tennessee into St. Louis.
