Yeah, like the whole season, and I would venture to say next season as well when Miami can (hopefully) pick up some elite players in key positions.

It's hard to be in the middle. You get attacked by both sides. That's where I'm at. Yes, nobody can reach a definitive conclusion based only on the first three games, particularly when it comes to a rookie Quarterback.

I'm don't agree when it comes to a rookie Coach, Coordinator or GM or even owner LOL. I think that when you are a coach, you are judged on your performance from day one.

A player can grow or not grow depending on time. In a sense, a coach can also grow by being in a situation again and not repeating the same mistake as made earlier but this last game was a good example of how a coach cannot be cut the same amount of slack as a player.

RT threw a pick six. But even despite that pick 6, we had two other opportunities to win the game.

However, the last mistake of the game was not getting Carpenter closer for the field goal and relying on the fact that his record as a long distance kicker was good so "what's the problem with relying on him to make a 45 yarder?"

The problem is that you don't gamble with the won-lost column. I wonder if you know what that means. If, for example, a coach makes a determination that a certain defense should be set on a certain play, even at the end of the game, and that play results in a touchdown, that's not even what I'm talking about.

I'm talking about throwing away the decades old script that you move yourself into CERTAIN field goal range and then you play around with the options, not the other way around.

You should know that as a rookie coach, veteran coach, whatever.

Do you realize the irony of the game.

Tony Sparano, who we fired and criticized for playing it safe too often and playing for a field goal too often, even when we were at the line of scrimmage on the 20 yard line and 3rd and 9 and he ran the ball, was sitting on the other sideline when Joe Philbin went for a deep pass on 2nd and 6 at the 47 field goal range instead of trying to run to get the ball closer.

And we missed.

And Tony Sparano laughed because he felt vindicated.

RESPONSE: I think you are mistakenly confusing him with Mizzou15. Now that fits Mizzou to a "T".

We are fans, we watch games, listen to interviews, read stats, read articles and have opinions about what is happening from game to game with our team... What's the problem? That is what we talk about it around here.... Everybody always has different opinions on just about every topic I have ever seen posted here.... Move on, or use your brain to lay out ones opinion that differs.. The hottest topics on this team are obviously the new HC and cordinators, the new rookie 1st rd Qb and the GM... And no matter what group you put together to talk about these subjects, there will be different opinions all over the spectrum. People aren't going to ignore questioning or praising the coaches and players, ever.... This whole lets draw line in the sand and attack members personally for their opinions is what is wrong around here IMO...

You go from blaming the coach for calling the FG ice TO to blaming the coach for not throwing short.

I've looked at this game again, and there are receivers open short on two plays at the end of the game - one at the 30 and one around the 25. RT completely ignores them and tries for the TD.

Seemed like the right play called, poorly executed by the Rookie QB who some are anointing as the next Dan Marino.

You blame the coaches for that one... yet you do.

I didn't say you were leading the blame. Just said you were blaming the coach for the FG ice call.

The reason I say it, is that it points to where you are coming from in blaming the coach for anything. Bellichick did the SAME EXACT THING in the game Sunday night against Baltimore, and it almost worked.

Icing the kicker is a standard tactic, and people would have been blaming the coach if he didn't do it.

The point here is that you are just looking for things to blame the coach for. It doesn't have to make any sense, you just need to blame him. It may be the only way for you to explain why the team isn't meeting your expectations.

What are you talking about? You go on a diatribe about the coaches not trying to get into better FG position for Carpenter.

When I point out that a play was called to get receivers open underneath your response is that the subject "has never been addressed on this board.". That is seriously your retort? I'm glad I don't have you as a lawyer.

Sorry, but I don't think the coaching staff checks this board before calling plays. And it isn't my problem if you go on a half cocked 100 word rant on poor coaching without even looking at the plays. Maybe you should do a little homework before wasting you time and efforts blaming the coaches.

If you are saying you are not criticizing the coaches, then fine. I'm glad we agree that the coaching staff is going a good job. Glad I was able to change your mind.

You know, DK. We have an old saying in the law that people usually try to pull scams that they themselves would be stupid enough to fall for.

You accused me of attacking the coaches for the "freeze."

I said I never attacked them for that ONE THING.

I attacked them for every damn thing else.

INstead of admitting you were wrong and that I never criticized the coaches for that ONE THING, now you try to save face on the board by saying YOU changed MY MIND. Just admit you had it wrong!

Now you're making the other people on the board mad at you because you are attacking their intelligence by trying to make such a stupid argument.

You are the only person that seems upset.

Sorry that you feel attacked. That isn't the point. The point here is that the freeze timeout is a ludicrous reason to be upset at the coaches.

But then again, you seem to get worked up over the smallest things.

Now you're trying to BACK OUT of the argument gracefully but it isn't working. You accused me of ATTACKING THE COACHES FOR THE FREEZE and I proved I never did that.

Your answer now is...."Oh, you're getting too upset over a trivial thing."

I've lost all respect for you DolfanKing.

I used to think you were just crazy. Now I think you are crazy AND A BOLDFACED LIAR!

I'm not a liar or crazy. These are the typical theatrics I'm coming to expect from you.

That was a good coaching call right there, Javorskie, 4th and goal from the one with 2 minutes left

So far this season, most of the coaching looks good.

This team looks prepared and plays clean.

Last game was on the players. Reggie Bush's injury didn't help.
