First of all im glad the 9ers lost.....

The NFL did everything possible for the 9ers to win the superbowl and the 9ers could not take advantange of that.

They had the momentum right after the lights went out.

Coincidence that the lights went out?

Answer: No

KapPERICKEL has an all world team around him and could not deliver.

GOOD! thumbs up

Although I agree that the NFL would most likely rather have SFran win, there's no way they did everything possible to affect the outcome. They could have easily thrown the interference flag on that last drive in the end zone, and could easily have NOT thrown the flag on the interference penalty against San Fran earlier on.

I also have hated the 9ers ever since they beat us in the super bowl in the 84 season, and didn't shed any tears over Randy Moss failing to get a ring.

Yea, all the Kapernick fan boys here keep harping on the last play the 9ers had but say nothing about the OBVIOUS hit out of bounds (two steps out of bounds) on Flaco the last time the Ravens had the ball in the red zone. It would have given them 4 more downs inside the 5 and a TD would have made it a two score game so the last 9ers possession would have been moot anyway. Also uncalled was the horse collar that sent Pierce to the locker room.

Too many band wagon fans here on Oahu. All the Polamalu Steeler jerseys are in the closet now getting eaten by flying cockroaches, then suddenly out come whiner fans from the woodwork. It's really disgusting. Haven't seen them in such masses since Montana & Young were at the helm. Good for them that San Fran lost.

I liked how the officials called the game. From the beginning they showed that they were going to let the players play. The one really bad call was the hold in the end zone on the safety/ Other than that I'm ok w/ the calls. I like Kapernick he is solid. I was against the phins drafting him because he played in the MWC. Great kid rocket and accurate arm. He is a player I wish him the best.

There's no conspiracy with the electric outage, just the usual Murphy's Law in action.

The game was lopsided. The outage allowed the Ravens to "think" and that was bad. Too much thinking about what could be almost always results in a period of doldrums and that produces, in this case, a loss of spirit and momentum. The outage allowed SF to regroup after being knocked to the canvas with that 108 or 109 kick return. Had the outage not occurred for 35 long minutes, the score might have been well over...well a lot more.

The Ravens are getting old and SF will be prime for a return to the SB next year. Kapernick looked like "deer in the headlights" for 30 plus minutes of the game.... He's their franchise QB and brings excitement to the field. I'll bet we see him as well as Russell Wilson on SNF and MNF next season.

The 1 minute drill at the end of the first half was terrible.

YOu're right about that Flacco hit OOB, I'd forgotten about that one.

True....and holding in the end zone results in a safety anyhow. Only difference would have been the extra seconds that would have stayed on the clock.

As far as NFL Homers, DUDE!!!!! WE SAW TWO DIFFERENT GAMES.

But let this be the Judge...

The announcers criticized about 3 or 4 calls (OR NO-CALLS) that went IN FAVOR of the Ravens and not a single one or no-call against the 9ers. I didn't see the out of bounds hit on Flacco or it wasn't discussed by the announcers.

But I can't STAND that head referee. He f*cked the Dolphins so many times that it's a surprise he hasn't made us pregnant.

He was hit as he was running out of bounds. Not late at all. You see it every game every week.

Don't forget the two blatant holding non-calls (tackle?) on the kickoff return for TD.

The Refs appeared to favor Baltimore. Not that I'm complaining, but if there was a bias, it seemed that Baltimore was getting all the calls.

I hate the Niners as well.

That's the way I saw it too, King. I saw it going far more in favor of the Ravens. Not trying to say that the refs stole the game or gave the game away but just saying that the refs certainly "helped" the Ravens a lot.

Yup. But I'm cool with that, even if it went against my "prediction". I hate the 49ers.
