Here are some quotes I am reading that makes me think we really do have the REAL DEAL:
"He's off-the-charts smart,'' Sherman says. "He's a Bob Griese-type of quarterback mentally."
He's now the league's top-rated quarterback under pressure, according to a ProFootballFocus.com. He runs the no-huddle offense more than any team (58.9 percent of snaps) and better than any (a full yard more than the base offense), according to STATS Inc
Tannehill was third in his class of 235 at Big Spring (Texas) High. He was a pre-med major at Texas A&M with a 3.6 grade-point average. Sherman, who coached him in college, remembers Tannehill riding on team buses with a chemistry book
Sherman cited a few personality traits that accelerated it even more. First, he has the "vision and recall to know where all 11 defenders are every play – every great quarterback I've been around can do that,'' Sherman said
Second: "He doesn't hold onto the previous play,'' Sherman said. "Brett Favre was the same way. He wasn't worried about the last interception. After an interception, a lot of guys are hoping you call a run. He wants to pass."
Don Shula had Dan Marino call all his plays in his rookie preseason just to force-feed him the playbook and lingo. Tannehill taught the other veteran quarterbacks the offense this summer
I dont know what you guys think, but it looks like a winner to me!!

Looks and sounds good, and I am happy that we have him, but I still want to wait a little while before I call him our "franchise QB." Who knows what will happen down the road?

Have Patience Grasshoper. We were picked to be the bottom of the AFC east this year with Min. 4 wins. We are on the right Track , because of Tanny we are respectable again.

Dolfan1 is alright....cut him some slack. The other malcontent you speak of can eat sh*t for all I care. Tired of his negativity.
