My son and I will be rolling out to Phoenix this weekend to visit some relatives and catch the game Sunday.
I'm not as optimistic now, as I was when the schedule first came out and I made my plans for the roadie. But I'm sure it will be a great time no matter what the outcome.
Another confession, I picked up AZ's D on my fantasy team for this week.
I'm so torn!!
While Arizona has a good defense, they are not that strong against the run, 17th. While we are 4th in the league at running the ball. Arizona is a top ten defense against the pass, giving up around 180 yards in the passing game. Tannehill avg's about 200 yards a game in passing yards. The Cardinals have Fitzgerald yet they have one of the worst passing games in the league, even with him at 29th rated. Good thing because we have one of the worst pass defenses in the league giving up 307 yards avg a game.... We should be able to make the Cardinals run game rated 25th against our run defense rated 3rd, useless, thus making their offense one dimensional. SO all that being said we match up well against them..
If we can run the ball effectively, which we will if Bush is available, and their weak passing game isnt able to exploit are weak defense against the pass, we should do well. We will need to be effective in the redzone, to win. Based on stats the game should be low scoring, but who knows, maybe Tannehill and the passing game can break out...
