This guy really knows his stuff. I'd seriously consider hiring him as GM. I know the last guy brought in from TV was a flop as a GM (Matt Millen) but this guy actually knows his stuff

Matt Millen was similar in career to what John Elway is in Denver.

Millen was a LB for the 49ers back in the Montana days. He won 4 SB's with 3 different teams so I don't know if I would characterize him as a tv guy.

Elway and Millen were named as CEO's after careers in the NFL. Millen just completely sucked at it because he had no QB whereas Elway has Manning to bail him out.
