This is a moderated phorum for the CIVILIZED discussion of the Miami Dolphins. In this phorum, there are rules and moderators to make sure you abide by the rules. The moderators for this phorum are JC and Colonel.
I went ahead and voted for Tannehill under the assumption that he starts. Part of the reason, is that I assume that the Dolphins have more talent around him and a system and pace that could lead to a lot of points. The defense figured to be better too. Of course, judging by what we have seen so far in the preseason, it doesn't seem like that will be the case. I hope they put it together.
Tannehill's first game was against second third team Defense
I see sme promise, but not sure he is ready, but as a whole we don't look good, so maybe we give him a try and play for Barkley
Did you see him tonight. I only saw one series but they replayed a pick six he threw earlier and he didn't look so good on that one series, Luck that is.
Eesti, meaning like Cam Newton was successful last year. He went to the ProBowl. That was more a compliment to him than his team. I mean stuff like QB ratings.
Anyway, with Tannehill, the question is sheerly academic.
LOL. I mean. It's not like we have, FOR SURE, the greatest TEAM in the NFL. If that were true, I could see your point that maybe Tannehill should not be given credit when he's playing on a powerhouse team.
Of the four teams, I guess Washington (RGIII) is probably the most solid but some would say Indianapolis ((Luck)depends on whether they played like Crap for Luck and/or they need a magic ingredient such as a great QB like Luck or Manning to magically convert them to a great team). Few would say Cleveland (Wheeden's home) and even less would say Miami.
It is tough competition and Luck will be hard to beat. Tough question as well.
Too many variables...at WR and OL. Luck has a veteran franchise receiver and his college TE.
RT has ?????
I will say that we will look much better in the reg season with some game planning. We are strictly vanilla so far. No Reggie Bush playing WR. Sets with Bush and Lamar..etc.
Just FYI...I think Indy released something like 15 starters so they are in a bigger rebuilding mode than we are. They were just talking about it on NFLN yesterday.
What are the limits on the "bet"?
Plays a minimum of 12 games?
cause half the QB's on the list above (mizzou) prob won't even see the field this year unless as injury replacement for a few games. Not to mention they weren't even in the discussion.
" Tannehill can't get the ball past the LOS without it getting batted down. At lea(st) Luck can get it far enough for a pick six."
The first part of this statement is rather foolish hyperbole presented as "fact", the second part does not support your implication. Why did you even bother?

RT will have best season...and it's because we have the most talent around him. The key to making this happen is to get everyone on the same page...and we ain't there yet.
