Regardless of the merit of this one move, if you don't think Ireland sucks well.......................Hey, I GOT IT! Let's anoint you the chief number one IRELAND LOVER on this board. Do you agree to be that?

Pruitt always looked good in shorts, but every year when the contact starts he fades...

Is the next dump Wallace?

I mean we're STACKED @WR!

Stacked with

junk.

wasn't pruitt a great ST player last year? and it seemed to me he showed at least as much as anyone else this preseason as a receiver. seems odd that he would be the first one to get booted.

Hogan can replace Pruitt on teams.

Pruitt is NOT an NFL receiver. Not unlike the rest of our stable!

wasn't pruitt the guy who made the sweet 1 handed catch of RT's pass in the first preseason game? he may suck, but no worse than anyone else still on the roster and at least I recall him making a play (if I am recalling the right guy)

Mr. Berk, I'm pretty sure the staff see's significantly more upside with dudes like Jeff Fuller and Matthews and even Cunningham. Just keep in mind if (???) Hartline gets in the mix and produces +++ then we only need one of the new guys to really step up and we’d have an “OK” group of WR’s.

Personally I still believe Fuller is the dude who could surprise. After that, the Hogan kid has shown some potential. Legeedoodoo has played like poo. He needs to go. He’s obviously NOT a gamer.

I suppose, but I prefer Tanny's wife. She looks MUCH better in shorts smoking smiley

maybe we can find a few acorns with the next round of cuts. Should be more talent there as teams try to sneak guys on the PS.

Wow - Ireland cuts a completely incompetent player that nearly everyone could see wasn't going to make it. He is clearly the next George Halas eye rolling smiley

Miami Dolphins. Always Perfect.

Pruitt is hardly incompetent. He was a force on special teams last year, and impact player. But, what this move says is that our need at WR is greater than our need on special teams.

OK, that is off the rails. I'm seeing some laughable things on this site, but this takes the cake.

You want an impact player? Try Tom Brady or Drew Brees.

Julius Pruitt? Just another special teams player that showed no ability to play beyond STs.

Miami Dolphins. Always Perfect.

He had 3 catches against Tampa.

Why the whining, he's done squat.

I'm surprised we didn't release about 4 Wrs in the first cut. Philbin has more patience than I would with these guys.

I'm see us as keeping Bess, Hartline, Hogan, Fuller, Mathews ...

Last game was ridiculous the number of drops

I dont know why nobody mentions clyde gates to make the team...?

Is he really that bad? Does he drops too many passes?

He is probably the quickest receiver we have.

I don't think Gates' issue is with catching...I think it's getting open. He doesn't run good routes. He's fast in a straight line, but just being a straight-ahead deep threat isn't enough to make the roster.

********************************************************

It's odd because I just read where just prior to him being cut, he was listed as 2nd string.

Wonder what happened?

I think that means they are leaning towards Wallace as a keeper. They knew they couldn't keep both.
