Club Seating at Joe Robbie
Posted by: berkeley223 ()

This year my annual pilgramage to see a phins game will take me to Miami. I'm going to purchase some club seats for a game. I used to sit in that section back in the early 90s (the last game I saw at JRS (won't call it anything else)) was the AFC Champ game where we got blown out by the Bills.

I know they've really renovated the stadium in the last few years. Anyone sit there? Is it nice in the inside part of the club level (I like to get there early and booooze it up). Anyone tailgate?

That is where my tickets are. I recommend sitting on the HOME side of the stadium. The inside has been redone and is very nice. Bathrooms are always clean and never very busy. Of course the best part is the AC. I love the club section.

Hows the food?

Expensive.

I would pay anything for beer though.

I'm sitting on the home side, 3rd level 1st row above club level. Looks like great seats from the sunlife stadium 3d seating chart.

Staying at the El Felacio hotel right by the stadium and walking over so I won't have a "tailgate" but that won't stop me from tipping back a few.

Will I get arreast for drinking while walking to the stadium. Open container law in Miami Gardens?

you're walking to the stadium? last time I was down there there was nothing for miles around. Watch out for Rick Sanchez if you're walking

Yes. It's actually called El Palacio Sports Hotel. Walking directions from google maps says "be carefull there may be no sidewalks" Nice.

I looked at the street view and it looks do-able. You just have to cut through the Casino parking lot as there is no sidewalk in that small area.

Might be an adventure walking back at midnight. I don't imagine they'll let me in the stadium with my concealed carry Ruger. lol

I read some reviews that said taxi drivers don't like making the trip since it is too close. No shuttle service for preseason games I presume.

hmmmmm...

Good advice, particularly *after* the game.

I take the Duffy's express Bus and tailgate inside the stadium. Its an awesome deal. I'm going to the Jets game and the Seahawks. Please let me know if you go to either, I'll buy you a beer. I'm up in the nosebleeds, but any seat is really a good seat. smileys with beer

yes DK, I like to keep away from the riff raff if at all possible! drinking smiley

chyren, rick sanchez was a local news TV guy in miami, but he became famous nationally when he was at cnn for a few years. then got fired by making the typical "jews control the media" comment. he killed a predestrian many years ago driving out of joe robbie stadium--yet he never went to jail over it and it incredibly he never really had an bad press over it

Yep, there's more to the Rick Sanchez story, which will be of interest to Chyren given his criminal justice background. Not only did Sanchez strike and kill a pedestrian but he was also driving while drunk AND left the scene of the accident. And he got away with it.

Check your facts. The guy died 5 years AFTER the accident.

You will sit up there with your air condition and you waiters serving Mai Tais. Do they provide foot rubs? - Because you have to stand on the escalators, your feet can get tired.

Gawd I miss the days when "club level" meant instead of wooden bench you get a fiberglass bench.

Politics? Seriously?

Count me in the "legalize it" camp. I think the government should keeps its hands out of commerce.

Politics you say, DolfanKing. Then I guess you missed that whole thread about the death of Andy Reid's son. It was all about politics. A subject we often discuss in the off-season......as long as it doesn't get too hot.

Anyway, I guess it proves you're not the troll everyone says you are otherwise you would not have missed the content of that thread.

Troll this - This team looks horrible. It looks worse than Cam Cameron's team. Can't block on offense. Can't cover. No pressure. Getting blown off the line.

The team looks unprepared.
