To make matters worse, I strongly suspect that he was "whiffing" while "crowing".

They hate him not only because he represents Miami, but also because he isn't as accessible to reporters and doesn't kiss their asses.

Until we win, we will remain the NFL punching bag.

No no no JC...they hate him because he was indelicate when talking to Dez Bryant about his mom, because the players he cut dont like him and because he couldnt stop ross from embarrassing Sparano last year. smileys with beer

that is exactly right. once you sink to the point you become a punchline for people the only way to shut them up is to win.

Would be that much sweeter if we are able to do it with this owner, front office and staff.

I am.

Sam, I'm not surprised by this outcome in the least. Heat are a better team by far. Knicks are a team in transition. They have a chance to be really good over the next few years if they make the right moves but that is all up in the air.

If they win one game in this series it would be an accomplishment, but that's not happening.

I Kinda figured they would beat the knicks but not in 4. the knicks have a better rebounding team than the heat.

the knicks have a lot of talent but they just havent got it together yet.

Monte we bet the knicks with stoudamire the first two games. actually we beat them easier than yesterday when they didnt have stoudamire.

Ive always said the knicks are chucked full of talent. when they get it toguether its going to be scary.

the question is can they get it toguether and please every player...you know linn is going to want the ball...can linn and melo coexist.

____________________________________________________________________

Weve been lucky that our big three understand each others role...example yesterday it looked like bosh wasnt in the game because of his family matters his newborn.....i felt it....he wasnt in the game .....He did not shoot much he did play defense though....

the heat learned to play together quick..>can the knicks do the same thing.....

We had 2 new bigtime players who we signed..bosh and bron...

the knicks signed have more than that..

IMO the knicks have as much talent as the heat or even more....they just havent gotten it together yet.

Yes we have won nothing but at least we made it to the finals last year their first year...

So i believe there are better things coming.

The knicks may have more talent top to bottom on the roster. But the Heat have two of the top 5 or 6 players in the world and another that's arguably top 10. The Knicks have one top ten player in Carmello Anthony.

The NBA is a star driven league in the postseason especially.

Heat win that battle every time.

The knicks have some issues going forward. very little cap space to play with and decisions to make on Lin, JR smith and Novak. Can't keep all three. Might only be able to keep one.

I think the should do whatever it takes to move Amare in the off-season. Its a waste to have him and Chandler on the same team.

If they can't move him, they will have a tough time getting to the next level. Especially with Shumpert suffering a major knee injury. He was a player on the rise. Now you have no idea what he'll be after the surgery.

That would be awesome. And you know what would be funny? All those national media heads will be saying things like "we knew this team could do it" and "we knew Ryan Tannehill would be a great QB" and "Jeff Ireland, as we told everybody, is a great GM". Those are the things we would hear on mike&mike.

That's because we were at home. We're tied for the best home record in the NBA, but we have problems on the road. Still, we should have an easy time with it in the East now that so many big players are hurt.

We're still trying to sort things out here in the West. But when we do, we (Lakers, Clippers, Thunder, Mavs (hanging on by fingernails) will be ready for the finals.

Chyren, don't forgot the Grizz. They are gonna beat the Clips at the very least.

So anyways, getting back to football. Total Access just did a piece on Tannehill showing leadership skills today at rookie camp (Jeff Darlington did a really nice report), but then they cut back to the studio and ask the panel who has the most pressure on them this year, Luck, RG3 or Tannehill. Fat mouth Warren Sapp blurts out that Tannehill does because he's following Marino in Miami. Did this moron ever hear of a guy named Peyton Manning? or ever think of the pressure RG3 will have with all of the picks Washington gave up for him?
Maybe I'm nit-picking, but it just rubbed me the wrong way that the national media puts extra pressure on Miami and Ireland for that matter for some unknown reason.

The Clips stole one from you (down 27 and came back) and you took the next one.

Game 3 will be key.

Depending on who's still in it, I start with the Thunder, then go to the Clippers, then go to the Lakers, then go to the Mavs, then to the West, then to the Heat.
