I think what is important to note about these 2 players. They both help us where we had problems on defense last year. The seam and or Covering and dealing with the TE's... With Gronkowski, Keller and Hernandez, in our division, These guys could both help with this problem and deal a blow to the strengths of our afc east opponents.

Good point Crowder. I love both these guys and would not be upset if we drafted either. Although with the Kuechly pick, you would think that Dansby or Burnett are gonna be cut or traded. OR we are switching to the 4-3 full time and the hybrid talk was just BS.
I know all these guys have their hits and misses, but Casserly has not been terribly reliable. Last year, he said he'd take Blaine Gabbert over Cam Newton (and he said it wasn't close), and that Jake Locker would not go in the top 15.

I dont see ed reed, a little palamulu, i think he is definitely more a strong side safety since he excels in run support and is really good at man. i question how good he is in space, reading formations and playing zone which is what we need (i am sure he will get better at that at the next level). Right now I think he would play the same position and y.bell and maybe could replace him but i think we would still need a true FS, i hear we might be trying s.smith more out there. I always thought we should do that and i would not be upset if claiborne slid to us so we could have a second cb to make moving smith to fs easier...

Well atleast he was right about the "it wasnt close" part ha ha ha...
A&O,
I agree with Casserly that both of them look like pro bowlers. Ed Reed and Palamaulu, are probably HOFers... How long they are able to play at that level would determine if they are worthy of being mentioned in the same sentence of those 2. That being said, I like the guy alot...
Dolphin1423- I think Danby has had injury issues, and being in shape issues last year... Burnett did not play all that well the first 8 games last year. Burnett had problems with blockers taking his legs out from underneath him alot, and taken out of the play.. MLB play was not a strong part of our team last year...And Dansby with is high cap number is probably gone by next year if he doesnt make the probowl this year. So either this year or next we are gonna have to find a stud MLB IMO...
The 4-3, 3-4 debate is hard right now.. Becasue it benefits the Dolphins for people to not know what scheme they are focused on, pre draft. But it sure seems like the 4-3 is gonna be more dominant then last year...

I think it is consensus from many of the top scouts, that Barron and Luke are solid picks. I can find any scout you want and tell you where they missed on someone.... so I am not sure your point.
Casserly was also the guy who didnt buy into the Reggie Bush hype and selected Mario Williams...
