Sure, can't see why not.
How about a scoring system? 1 point for being right about a guy going in round 1. 1 point for the correct spot. 1 point for correct team.
D Decastro G Stanford
V Curry DE Marshall
K Cousins QB MI State
M McCants OT UAB
D Fletcher CB BC
D Hamilton DE Mizzou
J Wright WR AR
T Robertson DT South Carolina
I'll just do the first three rounds since I don't know much about the prospects after that:
Tannehill
Curry
McNutt
Givens
or
Melvin Ingram SC
Trumaine Johnson Montana
McNutt
Givens
Truth, How do you see Coples fitting in our defense? To me his upside is Justin Tuck. He can play DE/OLB (ala mario Williams and Demarcus Ware) in the base and move to the 3tech DT on passing downs (ala Justin Tuck).
I agree berk. If McNutt is availabe in round 3 then I don't think we pass him up.

it is completely absurd to take a G at 8. And we have much bigger needs than ILB, IMO. But to me the 2 surest things in the draft at DiCastro and Luke Keuchly (sp?) and they'd be solid to spectacular pros for the next 10 years. I'd be happy to take either if we could move down and grab an extra second. As much as I'd like to drink the Tannehill koolaid at #8, I am having a really hard time seeing it.

I think he's versatile enough to do a lot of different things for our defense but I don't know about OLB.
I envision him at DE in a 4 man front on passing downs along with wake, odrick and Starks.
All the pass rushers being talked about in that 7-20 range have warts. For me, he has the largest upside. And since I intend to play him in a rotation I'm not all that worried about his reputation for taking plays off. He can do that while he's watching from the bench.
I see him being used this year the way we used wake his first year...as a designated outside rusher opposite wake.

I'd have no problems with a decastro pick. I said months ago I'd like to trade down and take him.
I know you don't think it's "value" at #8 but value is relative.
Better to get a 12 year starter/star then to whiff on a Vernon gholston type player because some pundits rate him as better "value".
And don't worry about Tannehill. We won't get a shot at him.
truth not only do I think tannehill is there at 8 but there's a good chance he falls into the middle of the first round if we pass on him. He is totally overhyped and I get the sense that the rest of the league is finally coming to its senses. Remember people thought we'd need to trade up and take Brady Quinn that year, remember what happened? I think something similar could happen with RT.

Define "middle" of the first round.
If he's there and we pass he's going to fall out of the top ten.
But there are teams lined up from 11-15 that would be interested in him.
If he gets past Philly at 15 then he's dropping into the mid-late 20's where someone trades up from round two to get him.
If he drops to #12 it's no big deal. The players in that 7-15 range are all rated about the same so most teamsgo with need under those circumstances.
The only teams I see after us who'd be interested in him are Buf, KC, and Sea. totally not buying Philly's interest at all. Buf isn't going to take him after giving Fitz all that $$, and they have bigger needs (OL and WR) which could be filled with a very good player at 10. KC and SEA are possible but again I think their interest in RT is over hyped, but we'll see. Otherwise the next team that could take him is CLE at 22. The notion of us needing to trade up for RT I think can safely be seen for the transparent ploy that it is.

Don't forget Arizona. They aren't married to kolb.
1-Ryan Tannehill, QB Texas A&M
2-Stephen Hill, WR Georgia Tech
3-Dwayne Allen, TE Clemson
3-Brandon Taylor, S LSU
4-Nigel Bradham, LB Florida State
5-Josh Kaddu, DE Oregon
6-Andrew Datko, OT Florida State
7-Danny Coale, WR Virginia Tech
My mock is ACC heavy, but I try to go with guys I've actually watched instead of relying on what I read on draft blogs.

Hill at #42 would be awesome.
I felt Kendall wright might be the WR that falls to our pick at 42 because of his combine, but I'd take hill in a heartbeat.
