Crowder, pretty sure Tannehill came out of a WCO and the 65% completition.

Sounds like he completes passes.

His biggest weakness or well only real struggle is over the middle in routes.

Which that's just a timming and trust issue. So with time and and fine crafting his trade he will be a beast.

The rest of his pass's are top notch, plus great pockett awareness and very athletic, Intelligent and looks like a solid leader but time will tell with that.

I say draft him and start his butt. Seriously throw him in and see what we get.smiling smiley I bet he will have a decent year.

No, don't start him in his rookie season...work with him and give Moore a shot with a full training camp.

Start him in year #2.

My humble thoughts are that if he is taken by the jags at 7 he will sit behind Henne (who will have a couple of great years with the Jags and make us look dumb again) and become a beast. If Tannehill makes it to us and we draft him he'll end up being turned on after 1.5 seasons even though we all know he may take three to get good. I hope our qb development skills have improved. Only the bears have been worse at developing qbs in the last 15 years.

Yes i agree if we draft tannehill put him in from day one so we can stink really bad and we could get the first pick overall in next years draft.

The one thing in our favor is we FINALLY have a coaching staff with a history of developing a young QB. Something we haven't had since Shula.

The bad part....I'm not sure Ireland knows what a franchise QB looks like. The saving grace may be the mandate from Ross to get a QB so he may have to "reach" for Tannehill and maybe we get lucky. It would buy JI some time too.

I justs have a feeling that he refuses to "reach" and goes for Weedon or someone in the 2nd...or gambles that RT will be there later and tries to trade back up into the 1st with our Marshall picks.

Good post eesti, I agree...... with the coaching staff developing a QB, sometimes the staff developing the guy can be more important then the talent itself...
