Maybe instead of reaching we need to take a sure thing in the first?
Trade down pick up a second
Quick receivers that can get separation take presure off the o-line
Big upgrade!
1 Fleener(Gronkowski like Weapon! Won't get past niners & giants)
2 Tannehill or Weeden(Don't reach!)
2 Jeffery or Sanu (Quick big WR Marshall replacement)
3 Givens, Broyles, Rainey,Joe Adams (Quick slant welker like WR)
4 Lloka, Harrison Smith, or Antonio Allen Safety
5 Levi Adcock, Andy Datko
6 Best avail
7 Best avail
Add 3 of these offensive weapons beside Gates, Hartline, Bess Fasano Bush and Thomoas and thats a potential explosive offense
A smart tight end with speed that can block! Two tight end weapons with two WR weapons, bush's ability to catch swing passes, that is a matchup nightmare

with his 40 speed today he could move into the top 15 like Vernon Davis did---however I wouldn't take him that high. It would be just like this team to see all of those great pro bowl TEs taken in the 2d and 3d rounds and try to get one of their own at #8 in the first.

Fleener adds a weapon we can add others easily in the draft to revive the offense. The TE is becoming a key weapin as LB's can't stay with the elite ones. I would take him even if we don't get Tannehill. He adds a be weapon for Moore.
Stanford athletes are intellectually sound and great decision makers
Seattle drafted Doug Baldwin and Richard Sherman in later rounds and these guys were steals
On a serious note Fleener at 6ft6in 250lbs ran the 40 in 4.45 seconds. Their is your replacement for Marshall you can even trade down, and still pick him mid 1st round. I know he is a tight end so to speak but marshall was 230 lbs and slower with hands that were not as sure. So you see trading Marshall the greedy ball dropping big mouth who only played when he wanted to no big loss as long as we replace him. Their are ample players in the draft that will suffice. I like Fleener or Along with Michael Egnew from Missouri. Along with the reciever from Ga Tech, and we'll be ok without big mouth touble maker Marshall.
You line Fleener up at reciever and he'll be hell to cover with just a corner back that's how. Who says you can't line him up at reciever Aqua? Hell he's fast enough or is he not the right complexion to be that big and be a reciever in the league just asking.
A & O when you see Rob Gronowski play, does it really make a difference whether his designation is TE or WR? Take a look at some highlights of Fleener, A & O.
Chyren you said it best Jimmy Graham killed it last year for the saits Fleener might be a better athlete, and more polished than him. Remember Dallas Clark who is still available was a tight end who played like a reciever.

And we actually drafted Charles Clay to double as a TE and FB. What difference does it make what you call him when it is him breaking out into the open and making one of those circus catches in the endzone he makes for Andrew Luck?
