Yes...it is. But only because "News Wire (AND OTHER STUPID SHIT)" wouldn't fit in the column for the links banner. Its a programming thing.
But if you un-check the "Fan Blogs" box at the top of the news wire page, and save the settings, you'll never have to see it again.
They don't report news. Its a fans blog where any 8 year old with an Ipad can write a story about how the hot pocket he just cooked has an image of Tim Tebow on it, while running a poll to determine whether eating it is a sin or not.

Ummm...no its not. Its crazy posts like this that only make it SEEM more likely.
As the esteemed Dolphinmark pointed out above....there is ZERO chance of this happening.
Not only has virtually every REAL reporter working the dolphin beat said the front office has told them there is ZERO chance of tebow ending up here... anyone with even a cursory understanding of what the west coast offense is would NEVER confuse it with the gimmick offense the Broncos and Gators ran to make use of Tebow's abilities.
Jim Miller, longtime NFL QB, on Sirius, on this topic- "this would be burying a coach before giving him a chance. The west coast offense is all about timing, rhythm, and accuracy. And those are all the things that Tim Tebow has shown he doesn't have."
If Tim Tebow lands here, it would be as a FB or TE. There is zero chance he would be at QB. Zero.

Exactly.
You just hired an entirely new staff and are in the process of implementing their offense and you are going to blow that up for a guy with a completion % BELOW 50%???
And I don't think there's anyway Philbin would want him as a FB or TE...because that wouldn't eliminate the Tebow Acolytes calling for him to start at QB.

No it would not be a circus, it would be a "Circus Maximus".
"The Circus Maximus (Latin for great or large circus, in Italian Circo Massimo) is an ancient Roman chariot racing stadium and mass entertainment venue located in Rome, Italy."
That's why I think there is a possiblity that it will happen.

Chris, what you fail to understand about the person who so egotistically defines himself as "The Truth" is that he is slavishly loyal to our management. They are idiots and he is an idiot himself. When he does think independently, he fails to realize what idiots the Dolphin management is.
I have not dog in the hunt concerning Tebow but what you say about Ross and Ireland grabbing him to play on his ole Florida background and Thus put fans in the seat at the stadium certainly sounds to me like one of the dumb ass moves I have seen this ownership make since they advented.

I actually wouldn't mind Tebow coming here as a TE. It could create some interesting opportunities.

You have Jim Jensen on the brain. Tebow was drafted in the 1st round as a QB. He'll never play TE in this league.
Just because I like being the lone Tebow fan here...I still would want him on our team. He is a winner and it would be great to have something positive to root for every week. As opposed to about the last several miserable years of being a Dolphin fan. Every year I get all pumped up about the draft, just to get let down (minus Pouncey, I actually liked that pick) (more let down because we have to wait and see how they will turn out vs getting hyped over a trade up for a top 10 pick). Then comes the season and we start out looking like crap, and it just goes down hill from there. I say bring him in, ride the wave of fandom that will hit Florida like a mack truck, and let him compete for a spot on our roster. Are you really saying that he is going to be worse then what we have seen in the last several years at QB for the Dolphins? Maybe I would have a different opinion if he hadn't beat us in overtime this year. I will take the wins thanx, you all can have this highly accurate QB that you always talk about, but I still haven't seen in a Dolphin uniform since Dan quit playing...just my two cents....
No knocks against Tebow, I started this tread just really as a joke. However with this front office, who knows???
Tebow would actually be an exciting option to watch out of the Wildcat, but actually I think the Wildcat was implemented in Miami to get the best players we had at the time on the field together, i.e. big issue was we didn't have the QB or Receiver skill set to consitently score in the Red Zone without it.
That being said, it would probably be extremley unfair to Philbin in his first year as a Head Coach to have to create an offense in order to best utilize Tebow's style of play.
Of course, it could actually be somewhat successful, remember Denver traded away their best receiver last year before starting Tebow at QB..that's the way I remember it, anyways.
No one, not even me, (and I'm not a big Tebow fan - *Roll Tide*) can say that Tebow can't find ways to win football games. I know, I been Teboned in my as& alot watching college football over the years, and last year even watching my Dolphins.
The Dolphins aren't "low balling" anyone. We just don't have the cap room to high ball. We certainly better not offer Flynn a contract that would cripple this team for years to come.
We will likely offer him a contract in the mid-range...which would be incredibly reasonable for both sides.
While I dont think Chris Navarre should be chastised for his post or link as THe Truth, likes to do members of the community he disagrees with from time to time...
I dont think we will sign Tebow... Ross already messed up once by chasing Manning for the sake of business... He will not be allowed to make that mistake again... Tebow while it would help the business would destroy what Philbin was hired for... Ross got his play it didnt work out, now Ireland will get his and I dont think in a million years that play would be Tebow...
But please try and be a little more accepting of others and their ideas, beliefs or post.... It is not the gospel according to The Truth, and chastising good members just hurts the community... Everyone's opinion is equal around here from my perspective...

I wont' say Tebow would "fill the seats" because that implies sellouts every time, But TONS of people would buy tickets to see Tebow play. The guy is completely worshipped in the northern part of the state. He's from Jax, and played at UF. Gator fans from those areas who remember his glory days would CERTAINLY drive a few hours and pay for tickets to go see him play again.
JC you are right, there is also a huge amount of wealthy gator nation alumni in south Florida that would buy tickets... All of the people that I know that are season ticket holders are 90 percent gators... Gator alumni are pretty powerful in south florida... Ultimately Ross would sell tickets from it but it would also create a nasty rivalry and turn off with the UM fan base obviously in town... I still dont think it will happen, Ireland is back in control after the Manning strike out, and he nor Philbin would choose him...

I don't understand that.
First of all: WHAT U.M. fan base in town? Even during their heyday in the Jimmy "has-no" Johnson era, they only sold out games when the Gators and 'Noles were in town. This was when they were winning multiple national championships. And they still average attendance in the mid 50K range, while FSU is in the 60Ks and UF is over 90K.
Also, re the rivalry thing....do UF alums, the ones you said are so numerous in S.FL., do THEY boycott the Miami Dolphins when there's a UM alum on the Phins' roster? How about the FSU alums, do THEY do that? No, they don't. I don't imagine that UM fans would do that either, but then again they don't go to their own college games, so who knows.
I'm not saying that there aren't any UM fans out there. There are plenty. But they're not buying tickets to home games. Perhaps they are scattered geographically, the way that Phins fans are.

Thanks for the sermon father Hyp O'crite. "Do as I say Not as I do mr truth..."
My issues aren't with Chris but with the use of bleacher report as a source for ANYTHING or as support for any thought/post. If you've posted on this site for more than five minutes you know that site is utterly useless in every possible way.
Among so many other Tebowistic issues, recent polling has revealed the whole “Jesus is alive on the football field working miracles through Timmy” doesn’t play well in SFL.
The report futher iterated “Tebow’s shtick is much better suited for pure bread Baptist country like Pahokee or the wild boar hunting territories up yonder in the panhandle.”

And I pretty much agree with that.
However, those guys up yonder....not necessarily in the Panhandle, you dont' even need to go that far, will get in their pick-em-up trucks with the rebel flag on the back window behind the gunrack, and head on down to My-AM-uh (I'm old enough to remember when that's how locals pronounced it) to go see Timmy play.
If Jax would have somehow gotten Tebow instead of Henne...welll doggie they'd have them a sell-out on a regular basis.
