Ok..a few things have to happen to make this scenario possible, but what if:
1. Manning signs with Denver
2. Tebow is traded to Jax
Where would that leave Blaine Gabbert? I would think Jax would definitely entertain offers for a trade. I think he got a raw deal last year on a bad team. He looked really good playing in college. He started and won significantly more games there than Flynn.

Unless it's a healthy Manning, I wouldn't guarantee ANY QB the starting job. I'd give Gabbert a TC, put him up against Moore, and see where the chips fall. I, definitely, like Gabbert more than Tanehill!
I don't like either Gabbert or Tannehill (or Flynn). If we lose out on Manning we sign the best F/A agent vet(not named Flynn) and draft Cousins in the 2nd or 3rd round.
In his defense he looked poorly coached and prepared last year.
The knock is he's scared in the pocket. That could be fatal if relatively true. A lot of college kids can't hang with the BIG dogs.
I agree with A&O about what the kid looked like and still may be. But he's much more of a project than I thought. Other than that, he certainly has the basic skill set to become an NFL player.
Obviously needs the right sitution and time to grow...
So, what does everyone think about THIS option now? Maybe Tebow WILL go to Jax? If so, would you guys trade our #8 for Gabbert? I think we should consider it.

Did you see Gabbert play last season? I wouldn't give up more than a 5th round pick for him. And if a team that drafted him o highly a year ago is ready to dump him, it tells you everything you need to know.
