Polite has turned into a 3rd down conversion king. He is like 9 for 9 in 3rd and 4th and 1 conversions. Not bad for an undrafted free agent.

I watched some film study on one of the networks on Jake. Man he is quick to set up in pass protection! He is also the teams best run blocker with the O-line having the most success on on the right side. He had his struggles early in the year has learned quickly. He gave up a sack to Terrell Suggs in the first Ravens game. Suggs also picked off a pass and returned it for a TD. I would look for Suggs to be silent this time around in a Dolphin victory.

Polite is a beast! It's great to finally have a FB that can run the ball for a change. Seems we've had so many blocking backs and receivers, and we've ignored the main purpose for a big FB.

He's definitely perfect on 4th down. I think we might see more of him Sunday. He's one of those difference makers nobody talks about.
