I don't think that's possible.

The only way you can sign Wayne now is if he was cut by the colts like Manning was.

If he wasn't cut, you have to wait for Free Agency to start next week.

If I were steven ross I would...quit my job and live high on the hog on my money. But, hey, that's just me.

yeah i keep forgetting he is not available yet. I think he will get cut on the 13th... I still would have worked him out by now and had a contract waiting for him so when that clock strikes 12 he is a dolphin. Manning would know that wayne is going to sign with us and he would have this weekend to think about it. Infact I think jeff saturday is available, i would be on the phone with him as well trying to get him in. If manning sees his confort is in miami he is forced to sign with us... I personally think getting manning is a no brainer with the current guys on the market. I would even be in talks with garcon if thats what he wants.

Can we trade for Wayne? Not a pick a player, say Gates or Hartline.

Wayne is a free agent so he is not getting cut or getting traded. Saturday is a possibility. I got the impression that Garcon always frustrated Manning plus Garcon is looking for a pay day not to reunite with Manning. Pass on Garcon but I would look into the other two.

Reppa, you can't work out free agents OR even talk to them until Tuesday. And mizzou, you can't trade for FAs either.

man, everyone needs to chill. payton is gonna do what he wants when he wants. we can tell him when we meet with him that we'll sign reggie if he wants, no need to do that first (and as others pointed out, this isn't even possible). you think we're gonna "trick" payton into wanting to sign here by first signing his buddy?

Wayne and Manning are going to play together in 2012. It's a given.
