Wait a minute. Is HE letting Dolphins fans down by his suggestions or is the real fault that Dolphin management is letting Dolphin fans down by accepting it.
And who's to say that he is not following what he knows the Dolphin management is going to do ANYWAY.

If we signed Manning or Flynn, I'd have ZERO issues with this pick if we stayed at #9.

Assuming we get Flynn or Manning....this is a great pick!
Yeah it's only a great pick if we get Manning or Flynn, cuz if we have Moore back there, that'll mean that somehow we won't need a Right Tackle to protect him or anything.
I'm not sure it works like that. I think if you believe it's a great pick if we sign Manning or Flynn then you have to think it's a good pick no matter who we have under center. Perhaps even more so with a lesser QB who could benefit more with more time in the pocket, given that someone like Manning is an ACE at getting the ball out of his hands extremely quick. If you think protecting the QB is an area of need for us if we have a really good QB, how could having a lesser QB lessen the need for having an elite RT to protect him?

Glad You're not buying the Tannehill cookies.. I've watched him consistently lose all his big games this season with bad decision making
Thanks Truth!! Dropping some Logic in the mofo!

I don't agree with a lot of your picks but Riley Reif is definitely on the short list if we pick at #9 and he's still there.

That's a fair point. It's a good pick under any circumstances. But it's a great pick if we have already upgraded our QB spot in free agency.
Reif is a terrific player and hell help us no matter who is at qb but that doesn't change the fact that finding a franchise qb is the ONLY priority this team should have until it finds one.
If we get to the draft and Matt Moore is still our best qb then taking aRT at #8/9 is a luxury we can't afford.
If draft day rolls around and we haven't signed manning or Flynn we need to trade UP to #2 for RG3 or trade DOWN to add picks next year that will enable us to trade up for BARKLEY, JONES, or another QB.

I would trade up to the number 2 spot and take grffin3..........give a first rounder in next years draft and some picks this year....
Take a chance for once in their lifetime to get better. Moore stinks.
If we go with moore at the qb position then we will be sucking for barkley once again next year. And with our luck we will be just good enough to miss out on him.
I think "Moore stinks" is over-the-top language. To say that Moore is not the future of the franchise is defensible. To say we need another QB is appropriate. To say that he "stinks" just because he could not pass and block for himself at the same time is getting into that "quarterback is the whole team" mentality that leads to folly.
But even if you do follow that philosophy, the record does not support the contention that he stinks. Moore was thrown in at a moment's notice when the team was 0-2, the remaining scores of the team were
Sun Oct 02 at San Diego Chargers L 16-26
Sun Oct 09 * * Bye Week * *
Mon Oct 17 at New York Jets L 6-24
Sun Oct 23 DENVER BRONCOS L 15-18
Sun Oct 30 at New York Giants L 17-20
Sun Nov 06 at Kansas City Chiefs W 31-3
Sun Nov 13 WASHINGTON REDSKINS W 20-9
Sun Nov 20 BUFFALO BILLS W 35-8
Thu Nov 24 at Dallas Cowboys L 19-20
Sun Dec 04 OAKLAND RAIDERS W 34-14
Sun Dec 11 PHILADELPHIA EAGLES L 10-26
Sun Dec 18 at Buffalo Bills W 30-23
Sat Dec 24 at New England Patriots L 24-27
Sun Jan 01 NEW YORK JETS W 19-17!
So we were 6-7 but we lost to Denver, a playoff team by 3, to the Giants, the Superbowl winner by 3, to Dallas by 1, to The Eagles by 16 but to the Patriots, the SuperBowl loser by only 3.
So if you want to look at the bottom line, then he is not that bad of a QB.
To say he should remain as a backup is fair. To say he stinks is grossly exaggerating.
BTW Diggy i didnt say you were going to be the downfall of this team man.....I just thought it was ODD you have the phins picking a Tackle when
we have such a huge need for a QB.....
