Date: January 21, 2012 03:50AM The Packers will likely use the franchise tag on either Finley or C Scott Wells. It's easier for them to use it on Finley. Because of the new CBA rules on franchise tags, they could franchise Finley for just $5.5M. Re: Do we now make a move for Jermicheal Finley?

Date: January 21, 2012 05:17AM I don't want to pay a ton of money to a FA TE this season. Finley had a bad year anyway and was hurt the year before. I'd rather draft one in the 2d or 3d, great ones have been found there (just not by us). Fasano and Clay are adequate till we do. Re: Do we now make a move for Jermicheal Finley?

Date: January 21, 2012 08:15AM Finley is always getting injured lately, but he is a good player when healthy. That could be real nice to get Flynn and Jermichael. Then you can draft for the holes in the right side of the offensive line and maybe get a 3rd corner, LB help, or possibly a DT to replace Solai if he does not get re-signed. If the price was right...sure...go get him. If he wants to be the highest paid TE in the league we shouldn't get involved. We'd be better suited getting Allen or Fleener in the draft.
