Ok, here's the deal. If Nolan doesn't get hired away, seeing as we missed out on the high-profile coaches, I wonder if the best move for us would be to limit change as much as we can and keep our current DC and OC. The only chance I see that happening is if we take the "interim" title off for Bowles and hire him as our HC.

Then we can concentrate on getting a good young QB and filling some other holes..but the offensive and defensive systems would remain unchanged.

Opinions?

We need to hire the best candidate we can. If that is Bowles then so be it but I highly doubt it. We cannot hire him just to keep continuity on a 6-10 team, that is crazy.

I'm not sure Nolan would be cool with working for a guy full time that just recently worked for him. Kind of a slap in the face, dontcha think?

And linebackers coach I believe, I'm sure Nolan instructed Bowles in the grand scheme of things

On the contrary. Unless Bowles lets this go to his head, he's more likely than any other coach to leave Nolan alone and not mess with things defensively.
