Why I am not as upset with Ireland's drafting as everyone else is, ultimately the one thing i dont want a GM to do is mess up and pick a bust with a 1st rd pick... And during Ireland tenure which I credit him with 5 1st rd draft picks Tannehill still unknown. He hasnt blown a 1st rd pick... None of his 1st rd picks are bust and are all still with the team contributing at a high level... In the past we have had problems with 1st rd picks... Nick Saban, and Mueller picking Jason Allen, Ted ginn #9 overall, and even Ronnie with the number 2 pick, who wasnt resigned, just to name the 3 guys that came before Ireland became GM... granted Ronnie wasnt horrible but a # 2 pick on a RB probably wasnt the best call..
