Obviously, we have a long way to go to restore a culture of winning.
If we can win the next 9, we will be back on track.
Any playoff chance is next to nill. The idea is to play the game fundamentally correct and continue to focus on developing young players like Charles Clay.
Hopefully, guys like B Marsh are done guaranteeing a win and are focused on beating the man they are playing against. Pride comes before a fall. Vontae Davis & Brandon Marshall have been way to vocal without the evidence of actions.
The Defense is making progress...but we are not physical enough with too many zone coverages.
Offensively, we have to swing to the door open enough to get everyone involved.
Bottom line we need people upstairs in the exec offices who know what the hell they are doing. You see teams like NE and GBay who are always in the fight because of good management. Even a team like Baltimore w/ deficiencies is always competetive. Once Detroit got rid of that idiot Millen and put Mayhew in charge they turned things around in 3 years.

No, REALLY??!! I thought we paid them millions of dollars to sit around and pick their noses!!
yesh. just win the rest of the games after losing the first 7. wtf makes you think we have any chance to do that. and even if we did, how would we be better team next year? we'd just have the same not good enough crap team and staff. I for one am sick of this crap. Perfect 2011 season---win 1 game and get the #1 pick and draft luck. anything else, wake me when it's over
But, IMO, the Colts are deliberately tanking the season...and our beloved Phins are using injury to our advantage to keep up with the Colts.
I'm not saying we need to lose ALL of the games. I am not even saying Luck is the ONLY answer....but...it is clear that we MUST be in position to draft one of the top 3 QB's.
Nothing is more important. Nothing. Not 5 wins...not 8...and defs not 9.
I know it was a slip...but after the draft...Henne's quote will be the best summary of this season. "I know one thing about these guys, they're not going to stop quitting."

I think you want everyone on this site to start a Riot against you man......LOL.
Everything went right for us today except the Pack not losing.
New England got beat.
We won.
Jest beat the Jills but since they are both our enemies and a tie would have given both of them a half a win, somebody had to lose and since the Jills were ahead, a loss by them is better.
Wouldn't it be a GAS???????? IF we kept winning and they kept losing and we won the division at 9-7?????????????????????????????????
Yeah Jim B!!!!!!!!!! Right on, brother!
I'm holding on to the pipe AND I REFUSE TO PUT IT DOWN!!!!!!
Don't ever embrace a culture of losing!

Who or where we draft is out of our control. I'm not even going to think about the draft until the season is over.
Losing stinks. My time is too valuable to keep watching this team fail.
We need more than another year of good drafting. We need to be able to coninue to add quality free agent talent. A 1 and 15 team doesn't attract that talent... 9-7 does.
"Suck for Luck" is a pretty silly idea anyway. The goal is to win games, not lose them. And to suggest encouraging losing just to pick up some kid who has never played a down in the NFL, who could just as easily be the next Ryan Leaf as the next Peyton Manning? I'll pass, thanks.
And even IF Luck is "all that," it's not like he's the only good player in the draft.
