Leadership problems

The problems start at the top, and by the top i mean the owners making the decision to put people in place.... While I respect Huizenga as a business god, his ownership was ultimately a problem and it wasnt his fault... The reason is Huizenga's play on the Dolphins was strictly business, he is a business guiness and the only guy in the history of the world to ever create and be the ceo of 3 fortune 500 companies (Waste Management, Blockbuster, Republic/Autonation) He also built tremendous worth in those companies and cashed out for billions at the peak of the companies he sold.. Ultimately Huizenga wanted well for the Dolphins and was willing to put whatever cash needed to help propell the phins to glory... The problem was , what really was driving him was the business investment and finacial oppurtunity. And you cant knock a guy for making a smart business play, a business play that made him 10 times his investment in 15 years, and then cashed out... At the end of the day you cant get away from what motivates the leader, and our last leader was a brillliant business man and that is what motivated him and the franchise during his tenure... The willingness to spend whatever on the team was just a bonus to the sports side for giving him this amazing investment growth...
Ross- he is in it for Celebrity, or being the guy that owns the team, this is even worse...
Until we get an owner in it for the right reasons, we are in trouble... Every company the buck starts or stops at the top, and the motivations of that individual dictate the critical path and inspiration... And you can not hide from what is really the inspiriation of the leader or owner... Thats is another factor in our 0-5 problems
