This is a moderated phorum for the CIVILIZED discussion of the Miami Dolphins. In this phorum, there are rules and moderators to make sure you abide by the rules. The moderators for this phorum are JC and Colonel.
Down 7-3 in the 1st half, 4th and goal from the 3.
In comes Carpenter?!! Settling for 3 again?!!
The reason this team has no balls is because the coach is a gutless chump!!
Dan Carpenter should have been inactive for this game. Should have left him in Miami. At 0-4, FGs are not an option anymore.
I am sooooo over Sparano and his stupid bro-stash. Get this "o- line guru" the F out of Miami. He is so far over his head it's pathetic!!
I watched with surprise at first and then dismay as the mental state of the Dolphins changed last night.
When they got on the field they seemed inspired, even motivated. But after a few failures, missed passes and opportunities, the team fell into a state of depression.
My opinion, that depression started with the interception and run back by Revis. It became the mind set when Sparano called it quits at the end of the 1st half. Walking away with reasonable time on the clock rather than to make a move toward scoring was closing the zipper on coming back. The team fell into full depression right then.
You could see the expressions on players' faces. The coaches also accepted their fate as they were behind and that was that.
If you fall off the horse--bet back on it. Don't let the horse beat you. Damn, if we had done that at Guadalcanal, or Iwo Jima--you get the picture.
Sparano has cast in concrete a "failure attitude" with this team. Not until there's a regime change, and trading of mentally lost players, and an infusion of new inspired players has taken place, will things began to improve for this franchise. Don't expect to see this team on MNF for a few years now. We are an embarrassment....a total embarrassment.
Eleven more games to go. At least the pitiful Colts have Manning--and he will return. We "got nothing."
