because it seems like year after year we are reliving the same pathetic turn of events. Can someone take over this team, and turn this crap around because we fans the ones who have been watching the longest deserve better. Does it matter if they win in the real world HELL NO. I understand it's just a game, but I and countless others enjoy watching. Why can't we be accustomed to winning consistantly again, and not this B. S. were seeing on Sunday's . Even my children say dad why couldn't you pick a better team for us to root for? I tell ya the Dolphins are testing the loyalty of their fans with their nonchalant pathetic play. I watch now expecting them to lose sad really.

Dan made a lot of lousy Dolphins teams look good. And ring or no ring, you wouldn't take the Marino/Shula years over this crap in a heartbeat?
If we had Marino yesterday, and I'm not knocking Henne we score 31 points on the Brownies maybe more. What Henne is lacking now is polish in the red zone either he learns how to finish drives or we get someone who can.

If we had dan marino yesterday?
Sorry but marino doesnt run for a first down like henne did.
and marino wouldnt had control over holding penalties and stupid dumb penalties like marshals 15 late hit on a defensive player.....
Marino at his prime i wish we had something remotely as close but with this coaching staff and marshall dropping a clear td in the endzone....you all saw that....because he didnt even try......marino couldnt do a thing either.
How can marino win with this team when you have players like marshall dropping a pass in the endzone which he clearly didnt even try and it hit him on the hands.
Pathetic.
PS. Not even god playing QB wins this game yesterday with some of these scrubs we have playing on this team.
Ugh. 'Even Dan Marino isn't the answer'. Listen to yourselves. We've been trying it your way for 10 years now. It has failed miserably and turned what was then arguably the most successful, long term, franchise in the NFL in to a laughing stock. NO, we didn't win the SB every year, but we were perennially competitive, we were contenders, we could be proud of our team.
Before the QB-doesn't-matter philosophy came to Miami we had what ONE LOSING SEASON in 30 years!!! QB does matter! It is the single most important position on ANY NFL team! Having a top tier one doesn't mean you ALWAYS succeed. But NOT having one GUARANTEES FAILURE!!!
AND YES Marino won A LOT of games with scrubs. When you look at it other than Clayton what great receiver did he have (and he didn't have him for long) Gadsen? Mcduffie? Come on.

Like i said KB.......I wish we had something remotely as close as dan marino....
Im just saying if marino throws a strike to marhall and marshall drops it like he did yesterday because he doesnt even try....then marino couldnt do a thing about it man.....

You seriously saying gadsden was a scrub????I disagree,,,,
Marino used to throw a 15 foot tall passes which was clearly a bad pass and gadsgen got up in the air and caught them.....I saw many of those.....And mcduffy was a very good posession receiver....as well i remember him been open all the time.....gadsgen didnt get so open but he made up with his body and wresstled the ball from the defender.....
None were speedsters but very good possession receivers.....
I agree dan made them better than what they were dan made anybody good....but they werent bad players they were good players.
My whole point is.....Dan could be god but if players arent trying example like marshall didnt even try and jump for the ball in the endzone.....then dan is not going to make a difference....
PS...........I wish we will have a player like dan marino......Once again in my lifetime.

I wouldn't call the crappy defense and running game we had "window dressing". That was the difference between a good playoff team and a championship!!

What I'm saying is they weren't 'Great' receivers Gadsden was on 2 NFL rosters before ours and NEVER saw the field. Then played ARENA league!!! Montana and Young looked good because they threw to Rice and Taylor all those years. Marino looked good because he WAS. No matter WHO he threw to. That's the difference a great QB can make.
We have passed on several 'franchise' guys who cold have made EVERYBODY better. Whats harder? Finding one guy who can make everybody better or BUILDING and ENTIRE TEAM trying to make 1 guy 'Adequate'. It's crazy to advocate the second IMO.

I hate to keep defending a guy who I HATED when he played, but Montana did NOT have Rice and Taylor to throw to through his entire career. In fact, he won a Superbowl with Dwight Clark, Freddie Solomon, and the great Renaldo Nehemiah!

Dan was fun to watch, there was something magical about him, if you were down 2 touchdowns and had 5 minutes to go, there was always hope because he could pull it off, not so much with the last 14 guys that followed him
Fairweather fans- only around when things are good and usually possess unrealistic expectations(constant winning forever). They are usually talking about the superbowl or playoff teams more than their own team.(winning teams)
Miami Dolphins fans- enjoys miami football through thick and thin and realizes there is going to be ups and downs. Enjoys the good times and stays strong through the bad and doesn't really care about any other teams.

Interesting (maybe frustrating is more like it) to see the side-by-side comparison of the stats in the Browns game.
We beat them in every category except 1) sacks 2) fumbles-lost and.................3) the scoreboard.
